@@DeadOnBoardMTG It is the worst. Getting bounce by Yuriko or tapped down by Urza is a rough outcome for slicers. Especially if they are nexted on turn cycle lol.

If magda got a sculpting steel instead of the portal he could copy his cursed mirror for a 2nd dockside and make it to 10 treasures.

My best guess was he was trying to be sneaky, he wanted the mirror to resolve originally and made the promise of portal so we wouldn't just kill Magda there and then, and he could the reanimate dockside on his turn to go off

I'm Intrebec. This would not have resolved and happened. I had too many answers in my hand had Lootz not sacrificed his treasure, I would have sacrificed mine, because I know Magda all too well.

I just noticed I went from 12 life to 6 when it should have been 7 from the Gush reveal. Either way, winning at 1 or 2 life and surviving all three of those was a blessing 😆

You might not be ready for this conversation yet, but Yuriko and Slicer are more in the casual than in the competitive side of the format imo

I don't know, yuriko is ranked top 15 on edh top 16, I know slicer can be divisive on its playability in cedh but to each their own

@@DeadOnBoardMTG imo problem is it runs to many bad cards. The damage is inconsistent. It’s not a terrible deck but I think it’s just worst than what people give it credit for

Lootz should have passed the turn instead of attacking into a portal of phyrexia and then passed slicer so he couldn't be sacrificed

Idk if its been said, but when intrebec attacked with slicer with boomstick Lootz should have gottem the treasures not him. Boom stick doesnt give the creature the ability, it just happens when equipped creature deals damage. Even though equipment is attached to slicer being passed around, the equipment is still owmed by lootz.
