I'm very unlucky with mathmech deck, I can't get to full board at all when dueled with all the hand traps they threw...

If they open Shifter or 3+ hand traps then that's just hand diff unfortunately. It happens sometimes.

There are ways to deal with it. Ghost Ogre is my personal favourite. But yeah if you can't out it then you're fucked

as someone that has played the video games only one thing that I miss with oldschool yu gi oh, was where if you wanted to play a bird deck you could, maybe not win tournaments, but you could build a deck how you wanted, now it's, "It has to be blackwing." or what ever the current meta since havn't played really since 5d. It got a bit rediculous when it wasn't having a theme deck, it was having a specific theme deck and 80% of the theme cards were from a specific theme deck. yeah there was always the best deck you could make, but now it feels, your not making a deck from all say reptile cards, your making it from these specific reptile cards. THOUGH like I said :> Havn't played in ages, so maybe it's gotten better, though hearing about all the hand cards, and OTK the game has become probably not hehe. I do play to play tagforce arc v special so might give me a feel for how the game least then changed.

dude it's rigged, don't wait to believe it. Change IP, account and play the role of the "innocent new player" and see how things are different. I cannot even play on my account, don't know why... Danger cards and all the stuff to counter maxx c is something that trigger some Admin of the game maybe? i don't know and at this point i don't care. Everything will end with some mulcharmi rest in peace every kind of anger, things are pretty rip

Why I can't destroy continues trap? Like this situation enemy play pendulum and he set pendulumgraph. in their battle phase he active pendulumgraph and I have ogre in my hand and can't respond it why?

@@arandikasyahputra7586 You can't ogre it's original activation. It has to be on something that was already on the field when it activates the effect.

i was thinking about which floodgate to craft to have a chance against tenpai next season, since i'm done climbing the ladder in this one. the handtrap portion was also useful but i find that handtrapping them is very tricky when they open with game and waste your negates on board clears.

Glad you found it useful, As the strongest deck in the game, if your opponent opens game then yeah it can be hard to stop them. But using hand traps at the right time will allow you to pick up the win if your opponent doesn't open multiple extenders.

Dogwood wont save you if you dont have other handtraps, they can do damage more than you heal if not disrupted.

how? especially with a body on field i dont see how they would do more than dogwood given unless they use the attack doubling effect and you are on your last legs.

@uuh4yj43 that blocker will die to board breaker since since at least 10 cards of a tenpai deck are board breakers and they have trident dragon which can attack three times with 6000 atk that enters with 3000atk Dogwood will save you if you ghost ogre sangen summoning.

@@kaijinkazura520 I haven't done the exact maths but I did forget about the doubling of Trident Dragons attack points when I made this video. That being said though it is the case with most Meta decks that a single hand trap won't save you.

I mean, this is most relevant in master duel, cuz tentei in TCG is not that great, so "side deck's cards" won't help so much in master duel where tentei is quite destroying actually

Tenpai has a huge representation in tcg win rates and conversion, even in a best of three they still have access to shifter and hand-traps to turn skip opponents and then clean-up the board on their turn with board breakers. They've proven to be a powerful deck in all formats!

@@TylerTyyangI never said that tenpai was not powerful in the tcg, he is powerful yes, but only you look at the statistics of the tcg that you will see that he in the master duel is infinitely more relevant, if you can not understand this is no longer my problem.

cards that changes the types of monsters on the field like zombie world or clockwork night can help too because the main tenpai synchros and trident dragion require the synchro materials to be dragon.

I reached master this season playing dinomorphia alone. The tenpai matchup is fairly good I have almost 75% wr against it. Thanks for the video

@OvercastYGO I stopped playing it while yubel was at 50% pick rate but I am doing it again and it's working well ! I am playing pure atm but I am thinking of mixing it with Z arc engine + some labrinth cards! And feels good to only give one or 2 draws being on max e. I'm looking forward for you to do some videos about the deck !

Old Yu-Gi-Oh META was awful, the casual level was way better tho, these days it's just too complex, hell some card effects will say you can/can't do something, then another card with the same effect will just ignore that fact just because Konami says it does, that's just bad design

Dude, do you know what is going on with master duel? I've tried using this deck combo, and it will not allow me to activate earthbound release from my graveyard. Why??? I've done exactly what you did step by step, and I can not activate earthbound release.

@JessieGutierrez. Earthbound Release can only be activated in response to the summon of a level 6 or higher monster. Transaction Rollback let's you bypass the cost but not the activation timing. The timing reads as "When", not "If" so it can miss timing also

I've had an ok time against tenpai with Kash, but I'm def gonna start zone locking way harder. My best counter so far has been Dinomorphia

Yeah if you reach your end board without getting ruined by hand traps then you should be fine with Kash.

Kash is a pretty hard counter to tenpai or any deck that relies on sending cards to the graveyard. I'm playing tenpai buster blader and there's nothing i can do against kash without traps or spells

I found myself bricking on multiple births a lot so I cut it down to one so I could search it off Unicorn if I already had Theosis. I decided to run three pots because I needed more draw power. Kashtira struggles with consistency seeing as it's openers are hit quite badly by the banlist.

Got some wins againt tenpai with kashtira. Basically unicorn undistrubted is shangri ira, arise heart + fenrir with one zone locked on your opponents field, then you can lock 2 more on their turn If they don't just die to the macro cosmos on the field

@josep_pacheco Thanks! I'm quite happy with this list. The main thing I need is another Zeus as there have been times I needed to summon but it had been banished by Pot of Extrav. I am still experimenting though. There are so many fun UR hand traps I'd like to replace Effect Veiler with.

@Baelf1r3 I'm not familiar with the TCG banlist but you could probably surprise many people at locals with this. I imagine you'd have to side-out of the FTK for game 2 for an alternative strategy though.
