Was a Great gig Yes.. Could have been better for us though. We are from Sydney Australia. We were in L.A. for about 4 weeks back in May/July. Got back to Sydney first week of August. Myself and my partner.. We were there.. Up on the left facing the stage.. About 10 rows back from you. Did you notice the woman sitting near the medical people on the first landing as you enter to the seats? Yes? That was Michelle.. Did you notice a guy sitting next to her? Yes.. That was me.. In my Original issue Appetite tshirt which I purchased from HMV in Sydney in 2005.. Proud of that tshirt. The story goes like this. We took to our seats about 7pm. We got comfortable. Michelle set her feet upon the chair in front of her. About 30 minutes later this guy(Moron) comes along with his misses.. She takes a seat in front of us.. Her guy stands in the isle.. He looks at the other section and how many vacant seats there are.. And looks to her and motions to sit in this other area instead.. She has No interest in this.. He repeats this gesture to her a few times.. She shows no interest But to be on her phone.. He sighs in a disgruntled manner.. He walks over to us.. To the seats in front of us and Plonks himself down heavily next to her Without looking at us Or who was behind him.. Michelle wasn't even able to scream.. She just gasps and made a weird sound. Michelle had momentarily forgotten her foot was resting on the seat.. So when this guy plonked himself down.. The seat came up and Michelle's foot got crushed.. And now in October Michelle's foot is still healing from the fracture. Michelle had to wench her foot from the seat. This guy was Oblivious to any of this.. And for some Weird Odd reason we did not approach or tell him what he'd just done. As usually when if something happens.. I Approach.. I usually try to be half decent about it.. But generally I can be fairly Aggressive.. Depending.. But in that moment I was only focused on Michelle and seeing if she was ok. Slash came on stage about 20 minutes later. About a minute after Slash started.. Michelle got up and walked down to the lower part. After about 5 minutes of confusion of why she had not returned.. I walked down to see what was going on. She was talking to the medical staff.. They actually were very attentive to her. They then sat her right at the platform there at the front.. Michelle was in a white tshirt. I decided to pull up a chair and sit next to her. Five minutes later I went back and got our other items that were at our seats then returned to Michelle. You may very well have noticed us? At the end of the gig.. The closest I've been to Slash in years.. Actually Slash came to Sydney in February with Myles Kennedy.. At the Horden pavilion.. Great venue. Slash plays there all the time when he comes to Sydney with Myles. Anywhoooo.. At the conclusion of the gig.. The medical people wanted to send Michelle via ambulance to the hospital. I Freaked out.. I actually wasn't cool and calm about it.. I was huffing and puffing a bit. No.. Our medical insurance had expired a fortnight before.. As we actually extended our trip upon finding out Slash was playing. We had been due to return home first week of July.. But extended our stay. When Michelle said we weren't covered medical wise.. I said.. Just don't get hurt.. Lets just not get hurt.. Ok.. She said.. Yes.. Alright sure.. So we went with that flow. So on the night this happened.. We had no insurance.. And we weren't getting in an ambulance.. And finally when the medical personal understood what I was getting at.. They were like.. OMG..OH Right.. Ahhhh that could be a problem.. They said why don't you buy a cold pack from the chemist then or something which is exactly what I did that night at CVS. CVS are useless by the way. Not like our chemists back home who actually care.. Omg. So we got a lift back to our hotel in Hollywood on Sunset.. Which we checked out of the next morning and went to a different hotel on Yucca. Apart from all that.. The gig was great. Perfect venue for Slash. We both loved the venue. By the way.. We loved Hollywood. Wasn't sure what Michelle would think of the town.. But she loved it. It was my second time there and Michelle's first time. I walked the streets everyday.. Talking to many locals who would give me the time of day. Michelle's foot is still recovering. We got home to Sydney to our local Dr.. And indeed after an Xray.. Covered through Medicare which is the free system here in Australia for all Australians.. It was indeed a fracture. Guns N Roses are my sentimental favourite band.. I used to be a die hard fan.. I suppose in some respects I still am.. But tried to calm down a bit. Please check out my channel if interested as I filmed a lot when I was over there.

The sax is so out of tune in the intro to Maneater, And Daryl does not sound good. He still sounds good on his show, so I don't know what's going on. Maybe his voice can't sustain repeated concerts. Fans still want to hear the artist, the artist still wants to play, but when the artist doesn't sound good, it seems like it's not right to continue doing it.
