Very inspiring message! I also decided to take on a new path at the age of 26. I went to university this year to study accounting. I was initially working in the software engineering field. Not exactly the same type of situation that you were in. But as you put it, I'm tired of doing something I don't wanna do. My interests have changed, and also I've learned more about myself over the years and figured out what I don't want to do. I was a bit hesitant to change at first, but I was miserable. So, now, I'm all in, and so far, it's been totally worth it.
