Im a zebra player. Makes turn 1 pika much more viable since you can start widdling their bench pika on your first energy turn. Doing 30 damage poke to out damage potion has so much utility in keeping enemy bench units in pika/zap kill range

Nobody talks about Hypno deck

My best deck is Articuno Ex, the a standard Articuno, and Lapris. Then 2 misty, 2 Sabrina, 2 Pokeball, 2 professor oak, 2 geovanni, and then an assortment on other item cards red card and such, that got me through the 45 wins to get the emblem thing. Standard Articuno with the paralysis was the MVP in alot matches. Didn't need to endanger my ex most of the time.

Do you have any videos on resource management for this game? What to spend gold/tickets on, what you should be saving for, etc?

I did it the hard way: not having an ideal collection to any stretch of the imagination and just playing over half a thousand matches, only grabbing wins when my opponent completely bricked on their first couple turns, allowing me to have an insanely narrow window of opportunity to MAYBE sneak a win in. Even then, it was a coin flip. But hey, many sleepless nights later, I've got my 50 wins (I know I only needed 45 but I haven't done regular PvP so I did the extra 5 wins for the dust reward gained by 50 PvP wins).

"You have a higher chance of drawing an unoptimal start if you put a third pokemon" No. Using your Charizard deck example, you have a 50/50 chance of drawing either optimal or unoptimal. If you add ONE Farfetchd/Meowth and count it as an optimal then your chances of drawing optimal>unoptimal.

Misty is so bad. The first coin flip HAS to be 80% chance to be tails. But when you get that 20%, she gives you all the energy you need

The RNG in this game is absolute dogshit.

I think sleep is a good idea but adding Hypno may not be a good idea. It take 4 out of 20 deck space. Most hidden threat, you first draw Drowzee without other basic Pokemon, you gave a free score to opponent.

This was such a fun match. Love the strats😂

Pikachu ex is a busted broken card and need to be fixed. İt's not undefeatable but it's really everywhere and things started to got boring because of it..

I’ve obtained over 350 cards and no Starmie EX or even normal Starmie. These videos don’t mention that the only way to make these decks is to have either absurd luck or dump a bunch of real money

The only way to build decks like these is to pour a lot of real world money into the game

Other great options as bench pokemon are greninja and pidgeot. i have won so many games i had no right winning because of pidgeot. cool thing about hypno is that its just a stage 1

Does centiskorch’s hundred foot flames technically count as an attack on an active Pokemon or does it just target the draw deck? Wondering if you could put something like Wash Energy on an active facing this opponent and block “all effects of this attack” aka the milling part of the attack

Only weakness that Andrew (conveniently) left out is, that Drowzee has 2 retreat cost and will be stuck constantly in the active spot on your opening turn. 40% chance to be exact if you have 2 drowzee, 2 growlithe and 1 moltress in your deck. That alone makes you lose so much tempo having to attach and x speed just to get to your real starting pokemon. Also there will be games where you are stuck with drowzee simply by not drawing other basic pokemon, so you have someone in your active that cannot even attack since his deck doesnt play psychic energy. Yeah Hypno is good, but it doesnt make your deck outstanding like this video might let you think.

I think Hypno is great! a 25 percent chance to kind of get a free turn is great. If this works once in a game it is worth while. It's only a stage one as well so it's not hard to get out.
