Are you drawing all the notes in manually, or playing off the your keyboard?

I like double tracking instead of quad to. Just more defined and less noise. But i will double track playing through two amps simultaneously.

16:02 Don't be afraid to try things out that would be "impossible" for an actual human. That's what makes a music production so much more fun! Why don't make a drum sequence that only people with 7 arms could play if it sounds cool and fits whatever you are doing! Also nobody that casually listens to music would care about these details or even notice them! If your goal is to create something realistic that would be another case. It always depends but why not cosider adding stuff here and there that could be played with like 3 or even 4 sticks sometimes!

This video is kind of funny in retrospect. Just another one of Misha's abandoned side projects--the internet is littered with them. Not criticizing though. Not every venture is going to be a hit, but he's managed to get a few of them to stick over the years, and he's doing quite well for himself these days.

@@TheCarpenter0305 Oh, I know what the song is. I just meant the channel itself "Top Secret Audio". I think this was going to be a KZbin channel for recording/production tips that Misha started. He made a couple videos and abandoned the channel. He's started so many projects over the years that never went anywhere. I know it's him hustling, and like I said, his hard work has paid off. It's just interesting going back and looking at the ones that never went anywhere.

The funny thing is...imagination. I find that I end up using more jazz than say rock. And I am a rock kinda guy. The other thing is... you gotta start somewhere... I am glad you did this. The quiet in-between notes is just as important.

I’ve had my B2 for just over a year now and it has quickly become my “never sell” instrument. I think a lot of people get really caught up in the “well the guitar doesn’t make the player” argument which I don’t necessarily disagree with per se. That being said, I do some of my best work when I’m comfortable on a guitar. If I dial something in, play, and constantly am adjusting settings, turning knobs, etc., I find it much harder to convey what I hear in my head because I’m just constantly fiddling and am distracted. That is the exact opposite experience that I’ve had with my B2. Very surprised you let yours go, but I’m sure you’ll get another at some point. 😉

Guitar Recording is meaningless if the material is also meaningless like much of the music today. You may have noticed that guitarists are an endangered species. 3 Guitar Companies have gone under as of late. They sell us garbage guitars and horde the good ones for themselves. Sometimes behind a very expensive paywall if you show interest.

Misha one thing ive always struggled with is noise! Have you ever dealt with too much line buzz/noise and how do you fix it?
@Black-bn6ic
@Black-bn6ic Жыл бұрын
The trouble can be any of these: -Bad cables: Try another cable. -Cheap power adapters: True One is good. -Bad grounding on guitar: Check the grounding of your guitar or let a professional check & fix it. -Bad grounding on power source: Try plugging to another circuit. -Too much gain: Use less gain. -Too many pedals with bad cables, bad grounding etc: Unplug those pedals that you don't use and see if it's any better. -Electro magnetic stuff: Try changing your position in the room you're at. I've found that if I'm too close to my computer screen the buzz increases. Best place for me is at least 2 steps away from computer and turned left so that the guitar neck is facing away from the computer. You might have a different place in your room. -More electronagnetic stuff: Leave your phone and other electric devices you don't need to another room. Have your audio interface, computer, computer screen, pedals and amps all on separate places and heights. Don't let audio cables be to close to power cables but if they need to cross path somewhere then make sure that they cross each other like this: + and not side by side like this: II. I hope that helps.

These are good tips for writing a song or just getting an idea down, but guys, please don't copy and paste and copy and paste your riffs from one part to another. When people say that music nowadays has no soul or no life, this is EXACTLY what they are talking about. Would it really kill you to play the part again? Yes, for beginners, the tips about double and quad tracking are great tips, but copying and pasting and doing everything in the box is just a disservice to people learning how to record. 57s are not expensive. Mic your amp and learn how to record the right way. I mean, unless you just want your music to be monotonous and have absolutely zero vibe to it.

I really like the way he describes things in a way that makes me feel I can remember them and apply them over and over. Even though he wails on another level in a totally rad way, it is cool to receive goals that I can achieve with my recoding from a massive player. thankful for this video.

I think using the AXE FX ensures this method is way out of the reach of most musicians. Perhaps you should have used a free vst, instead of the rolls royce of modellers.
