This worked perfectly and saves lots of messing around in surfaces. I've only recently discovered ghost lighting, Which should be introduced when discussing point lights for beginners, as it will help those of us who struggle early on in lighting scenes.

When using the content library "+" option and "scene subset" with one object selected, the object appears in "My Library" with the unchecked parent character. When adding the asset to the scene the unchecked character also appears in the scene. I believe this is how a "wearable preset" is saved. My item is indeed a wearable but I wanted it as a separate item that can be used on any character. If the item is "Un-parented" the scene subset works as expected. ie The item is displayed in the Content Library along with the character but only the item appears in the scene. This seems a little cumbersome so I am wondering if this is the intended procedure when saving a scene subset....... or perhaps I missed something in your video. By the way I love your tutorials, they are always clear and concise and perfect for occasional users of DS like me. Thank you for your time and effort in creating these very informative videos.

Well I used to render my still image in 2k, so I was pretty scared to start my first image sequence, thanks to this video I render my first "animation" in Full HD, with a max of 1200 and it's about 2mn40s per frame. That is so great.

I've been using the tone mapping tab a lot, but I just putting in values in until my image looks good. Now I actually know exactly how they affect the image and the best way to use them. It was a fantastic video, thank you!

Depending the morphology of the Genesis model and the cloth, I use a mix of push modifier and if there is still some poke, I tilt a bit the surface parameter of the cloth until everything is fine. It works like a charm.

This series opens up a world of possibilities and is so much better explained than other tutorials! Well done!

@Daz_3D I have been trying to use this to paint the Daz Horse 2 but no matter what I do I can't get it to work, I either get one material with all the uv's stacked on top of each other or I get the same uv stack but with all the material zones from daz. Can you help me please?

It is not worth using cascadeur to make animations with DAZ characters, I have been using daz for years and there are many ways to make animations that are easily better than using cascadeur, besides the waste of time that cascadeur represents, even blender is a thousand times better when you make animations for video games because you can add many characters at the same time to balance animations among many other things, also in daz you can make the animations

Thanks Jay! I have a custom creature I'm working on, and I've created these morph dials for (example) the tail bending, going side-to-side, and twisting. How can I make it so that those same dials appear in the Parameters tabs when I have a tail bone selected in addition to the base figure?

Really wish u guys update the plugin to 4.1 by now. This does not work for my steam version at all. Spent over an hour trying different ways, github, your, custom paths, uninstalling / reinstalling for over an hour straight. Nothing fricking works and I'm annoyed. I just want to work so now I'm stuck downloading the base version of blender until some miracle happens your guys update to the actual 4.1.
