Need to be careful with the ALT = for sum. If there is a blank cell in the column, it will stop there and not capture what is above it. Also for numbers formatted as text, I just use Text To Columns. Alt, A, E F.

This particular example can be solved without nesting with using AND function, because the condition is simple. A good example would be if decision tree is more complex like you wanted for example to also give Sales part-time employees half bonus. I like you Excel videos. You are doing good job.

You can do in less steps. Dragging a range by the border with shift key pressed will insert it between rows/columns, holding control will copy it instead of moving

But you are using the mouse? It takes 1 second to move you hand the mouse, another to select by dragging = time wasting every time you grab the mouse. Suggest you use keyboard shortcuts to save wasting this time.

Yes, but without +, just enter 1 if you want to extract text after first delimiter, counting from the left side.

The first trick is a nice, effşcient and very useful one. For the second trick one may use the Format Painter as well. Instead of the third trick, I'd rather go with CTRL + C to copy the calculated cells first. Next, I'd simply use the ALT + E + S + V shortcut key (E, S and V pressed in sequence one after the other whike holding the ALT key pressed) to paste the copied cells onto themselves as VALUES. Presto! Proves to be a little bit faster to me than the suggested mouse method. Cheers!

Yes we can. click the "File" tab and click "Save As". Select "PDF" from the Save as drop-down list. Under "Options," be sure that the option "Create bookmarks" is checked. You can choose to create bookmarks from Headings or to import your Word bookmarks.

as third argument enter this: CHOOSE({1,2},A:A,D:D) where A:A and D:D are two columns not side by side. hope this helps 🙂

If you do just that, formulas will stay. Point of the tip is to remove formulas. But, yes, you can do it with shortcuts too: select range, ctrl+c, ctrl+shift+v
