It took me a couple of weeks to finish - mostly because I started playing a different new game halfway through …. also I don’t seem to be able to stop myself adding more square footage to already large floor plans 😅 Working your way through story mode is a good way to learn how to make your own sandbox plans, but you could also find a house you like (on internet house sale sites for example) and try to recreate it in sandbox mode. Have fun!!!

Hey thank you so much - a great way to develop your own skills is to recreate builds you especially like on youtube in your own game - as you do more you find yourself getting inspiration, changing up some elements and adapting others and soon enough you find your own style and technique. Give it a try! And while I would quite like an Interior Design career, I would have to deal with real life stuff like clients, time limits and (shudder-twitch) budgets 😱😱😱 so I stick to making my little builds on here 😅 Thanks again for your kind words though 🥰

Home Design Games www.youtube.com/@HOMEDESIGNGAMES taught me to completely ignore the buyers needs in HF1 and to be more generous with the use of space on a build - I literally started this channel to show her how I'd added gardens or extra rooms to her original builds! KaroruChan www.youtube.com/@KaroruChan and Debora kzbin.info%C3%A9boraBonamico are also amazing decorators Then there are loads and loads of real life interior design channels on here and finally I also take inspiration from stuff I see in films and tv series

that's just the normal pool with different 'jung' moldings round it to make the shape. The jung squares especially clip through most things.

No andar de baixo é principalmente um dos tons de cinza disponíveis na aba de pintura. No entanto, no andar de cima, eu uso papel de parede onde escolhi a mesma cor para todas as opções 2/3/4, pois isso nos dá uma gama maior de cores do que as disponíveis apenas com a guia de pintura. Então, no quarto da frente escolhi o papel de parede ondulado em creme e roxo para destacar as paredes, depois para o resto das paredes editei o papel de parede para que as duas opções de cores fossem o mesmo creme.

E as madeiras da parede do andar de baixo é branca ou outra cor?

@@ildasantos4203 sorry Ilda, I'd forgotten the wood colours appear differently whether you are looking at surface finishes or furniture finishes 😅 It's called European Ash in English - if it's a different name for you in Portuguese, go to the surface finish section and it is in the 4th row down, and 4th from the left. I think it's the lightest of the neutral wood colours.

Thank you so much! The exterior took the longest - trying to work out which surface finishes to use to get the best effect was the hardest!

The build feature was added in one of the last DLC's - Farm I think? Or maybe it was Pets..... No, I think it was Farm 😅 Anyway, one of those two added the feature so the whole building here is made with in-game mechanics.

It's completely authentic though Benjamin - a lot of taller people avoid buying houses this old for fear of cracking their heads on the beams all the time.

@@benjaminngopwaamos6878 I see it all the time on UK home buying tv shows - a shorter wife enthusiastically walking round a house like this, exclaiming in delight at the beams and period features getting the chequebook ready while her poor, tall husband walks around after her with a look of absolute DREAD on his face 🤣🤣
