Thank you!!!! I love the game, but honestly it's still quite buggy at the moment AND there are a lot less items available to us than there were by the end of the last HF1 update. Frozen District have a big feedback forum open right now where they are taking any and all suggestions from players about what is missing/broken etc so it does feel a bit like we're playing a big beta test for them 😅 What I'm basically saying is you'll probably have a better experience with the game after waiting for it to improve a bit ☺

Gorgeous as always! How do you add the paving outside on the ground? I tried and it wouldn't let me place anything down.

Thank you so much!!! I'm not sure about the paving - when I have bricklaying selected in game mode the brick appears right down at surface level if I place it on the ground. When I place the brick next to the edge of the house, or patio edging, it appears on top of the surface instead. If you're in sandbox mode then there are options within bricklaying mode (Q or R I think?) that allow you to select the brick appearing at surface level. I've also just remembered that for me (on PC) on some of the game mode jobs I really struggled to place anything at all on the floor outside!!! The game is still quite buggy I think!!

@@ataraxisbuildsthings429 Thanks for your reply. I never thought to put the bricks down first. I really miss a lot of the things from HF1, including the furnishings, decor, paint options, window treatments, and all the outdoor products including surfaces. Hopefully they will incorporate those soon.

@@mbt6049 There is SO much I miss 😭 the latest report back from them says they'll be adding more things in updates as they go along but I did think it was absolutely CRAZY to release the game without any window coverings at all!!!! I guess we all just assumed we'd have the same amount of items from the start when in reality everything we had by the end of the last HF1 update had arrived over years in freebies and DLC's - it certainly makes playing the game now a challenge!!!

@@ataraxisbuildsthings429 If I would've known at the start that they were missing all these things, I would've just waited to get the game. I find it rather annoying to not have the same items from the first one, and I wish they would allow a workshop with this one too. I have a feeling they're getting a lot of negative feedback because of all that.

@@mbt6049 Yes, it's crazy because on the one hand we have so much more variety in terms of the items we do have being available in all the many colours and patterns, but on the other hand the number of those items themselves is so limited. Like, I love that I can customise what plants I can put in what size/colour plant pots but why on earth can't we turn fireplaces on when that was already a standard feature in the first game??! I'm sure we'll get there eventually, after all it took FIVE years for HF1 to reach the colossus of awesomeness we had by Nov 2023 😅
