Does the usb input in the center console with the Aux next it still work with your new stereo?

What did you do why are removing all that buddy go under remove the wheel and your done in half hour. Why so much unessacary work and the harmonic balancer hole goes up top to tdc mark before removal

Did you pre loosen the bolt or just use an impack to take out the bolt?

Just a heads up to anyone even thinking about this repair, you may want to inspect the vent for the PCV valve that is integrated into the valve cover. If the diphram inside is damaged, it will make a leaky air noise. The PCV valve is responsible for controlling the engines pressure, and if it's blown can cause many of your gaskets and seals to leak due to the increased pressure, Valve Cover, Crankshaft, and there was another one i read about, can't remember what one. but if you have leaks in the valve cover, and you have this squaky noise, and you hear/feel the air hissing, you may want to replace the valve cover first. No you cannot just change the PVC valve, it has to be the whole valve cover. I'm guessing this is why the dealership said "we just replace the whole valve cover" when i originally just asked for the gasket. Valve Cover is a way easier job, and it's top end. While the crankshaft seal may not be 100%, it likely won't squeak any more, likely giving you a bit more time before having to do this specific repair. After just changing my valve cover (with integrated PCV) when i remove the dipstick now, it creates a suction, this indicates that the PVC valve is pulling engine pressure properly, and therefore will put less strain on the seals and gaskets. Clean up the side of the engine, and if you still see leaks later on, then tackle this job. WARNING: Don't get foot pounds and inch pounds mixed up when tightining the vavle cover bolts, or you will be sorry. 71 INCH lbs. Also be ready to let your car sit for about 24 hours to allow the gasket sealer to properly cure.

Settings , Factory , 8888 password for me. then option to choose car varient, sorry can't remember exact name of option. mcu update no problem for me, you need internet. 1.Choose your canbus box ( you might call this something else in U.S, hiworld ,raise etc ) 2. choose car make, opel in my case. 3. choose car model. 4. can't remember, public, only option I think. 5. choose boot logo ( you could upload any photo later through the file manager, finally option for A/C control, in your case don't select to get rid of useless on screen A/C controls that don't work. Only came across this as just installed Nova launcher and just comes up as a black screen after inputting basic options.

If you pull the dipstick out while the engine is running and the noise goes away, you got PCV system issues.

I didn't remove the motor mount and it was pretty easy. I haven't tightened it yet because I gotta figure out how to keep the crankshaft from spinning, haha. Thanks for the video! 2014 Chevrolet Cruze 1.4L Turbo.

Just did this today, very easy. No need to remove the motor mount. Slipped the belt off the alternator from the top and slipped back on from the top. The wheel liner was a bigger pain in the ass. Runs perfectly. 160k miles but is the wife's car and I take care of it. No more chirp...lol. I will say if you don't have a good impact to get the bolt off, don't try it, plus a good E18 socket.

Ive been having the same issue! Over here in the UK we use these engines in Vauxhalls, ive had this squeak over a year, mechanics cant pinpoint where the squeak was coming from so i just put up with it lol, only does it when warm not cold though

Developed this exact squeak and an oil leak from the front of the engine near the pulleys. Im just gonna throw this at it and see if it fixes it. I know it's not loose spark plugs at the least ;)

This radio is terrible, nothing works properly, I have a 2014 ram 1500 limited and the steering wheel programming suck , the volume lower button increases the volume and volume up lowers the volume, clock on my dash has been stuck on military time since install and won’t change, temperature stays on 61 degrees no matter what the outside temperature is , worst purchase ever and they send me an update to fix that says ford , when I explain I clearly have a ram . Don’t get one , also the tech support people get upset each time I reach for assistance via WhatsApp

Hi, great video. I've got the same car and same squeak so its good to know the cause. One thing to mention at about 8:15 into the video you talk about the crank pulley being out of balance if you reinstall 180 degrees incorrect. That little hole indicates top dead center of cyl 1. Which lines up with a mark on the timing cover around the 2 o'clock position for TDC. If you reinstall wrong nothing will happen until any timing related repairs are needed.

hi I have the same car with the same engine and this part have been replaced three times already but it keeps leaking oil from there, is there a compatible oil seal that permanently stops the oil leak? As the original spare part is not good...if yes please tell me the brand and the oen code for the right seal which I can get here in europe.

Do you have to drain your motor oil first to do this job?

The screen where you can setup wifi. Is where you can set the time zone to your local area. So it will show up correctly.
