How are people getting on with these over potholed uk roads?

I don't like electric windows so for me the most attractive aspect of the base model Sandero is the chance to get a fairly new car with front winding handles.

Yes! Fuchsia for me! Been driving it for the past 12 years. 1.2 Dynamique 75 HP. Love the independent seats in the back. Use that feature all the time. More bootspace when doing groceries or goin on holiday. Sliding them back when giving friends a lift.

Great looking inside and out , love mine and like how RR do things , seats are comfy and nice extras with my SE tech model , heated seats , heated windscreen a bonus in this freezing weather and 4 x 4 system , I am always thinking what could replace it but always find silly faults with other cars , I even thought and looked at a volvo xc40 awd but the one I looked at was 4 yrs old and just done 21,000 on the clock but felt so underwhelmed inside just wasnt as good as my evoque and didnt help with the chrome trim around the screen on the volvo had lost its chrome in places so was black , bottom of the inside door panals all had scuff /scratches on every door so just thought the xc40 was poor materials . The evoque would of been a great car if they never ever made the 2ltr ingenium engine , it really really hasnt done them any favours , the dpf problems and timing chain issues is a nightmare , as it put me off another no I would just but a petrol/hybrid

its really irritating that you constantly negatively comment (ignoring the economic realities) of shared Mercedes technology and even more that you (have you owned or driven one) are so negative about the DB11 which is a wonderful car. Maybe DB11 owners are not so obsessed by infotainment issues as you guys more happy with having one of the most beautiful cars ever that gets admired everywhere and when required goes like stink!

Really a nice review trying to understand and point out the vehicle's character. - I drive a 2014 Rexton W (AT), use do go on quite some harder tracks during my roof top tent trips to east and south-east Europe as well as to north Africa (Maroc, Tuniesia, this spring Mauretania is on the list) - and I agree in almost any point. Not to forget: mine has 250.000 kms on the clock meanwhile without any big issues: Just brakepads here, a fuel filter there - and a broken intercooler air pipe due to a marten attack. - I'd definitely buy it again; and one day, hopefully, I will. Or try to, if there will be one left in good condition ... For me, there's no adequate substitute on the market.

it’s not ultimate. It’s not about maximum speed or maximum BHP surely it’s about beauty style and usability. That’s why the DB5 and DB6 will forever be better, Aston Martins than this

I have a 2009 is250 i've had since 2019. Hands down nice. Dealers polite and friendly. Very well built. Will very very rarely be at a garage other than servicing. Ride a bit firm but you know that engineers have been responsible in the bits that matter. Don't run fuel too low too many times it will tell you in a polite Japanese way. Key fob batteries use up way to quickly have been to dealer twice and twice replaced for free ( they know). Avoid Diesel.

My dad had the diesel version - not good. The manual gearbox was very stiff and difficult to get into gear, generally poor compared to the refined petrol model. A diesel Mondeo from 2008 is better than the diesel IS

Does the evoque or discovery sport have some kind of offroad or slow speed cruise control to maintain a really slow speed, like 10 mph when travelling through game reserves for example?

Too much plastic, high gloss and too much cost cutting (if you look closely) imho. The wheel arches should be a bit wider like on the m5 model. Now the i5 looks a bit too narrow.

Impressive development, just shame about the plastic parts bins special items! The hybrid when it comes should be a winner! Oh.. the advert selling the content pops up too often and I was tempted to switch off. You only need it to appear once, as you can also go back on the time line and pause to note it down! It’s annoying!

I have a plug in hybrid and yes I do like it a lot. Far too much in way of electronic driver aids but apart from that it’s very nice. Not as good looking as previous model but it’s a lovely quiet vehicle to cruise around in and the interior is quality. It’s not particularly fast or sporty but with speed cameras everywhere and awful road surfaces it’s fine for me.

I have Lexus IS 250 2006r , that thing just does not break and driving it is a pleasure. However the ride really sometimes is too stiff on bumps and rear couch does not fold down which is a big minus for me. The body kits for this car are amazing, I still cannot decide which one to take. You wont find anything like that in the competition.

Just got one yesterday on autotrader 2010 sports 1.6l petrol manual, full service history, 5 owners, 150k miles when bought, getting serviced next week , amazing power and efficiency on fuel. Needs a clean inside but such a perfect car. Japanese are beasts. Had my rav4 2001 sold yesterday, didntn want to sell but too much cost on fuel. Will keep you all updated on it if you reply to this comment.

Turns out someone put tape over the engine dashboard light, called previous owner they said it would cost 1500 them to fix the vvt /valvematic issue. Bit disappointed, but it still drives well, haven't gone into limp mode yet like the owner did, I'm hoping to get this problem fixed sooner than later, but for now I will pray 🤲 Will Keep you all posted

Recently bought a yaris hybrid as used 2014 model with 94000km on it and costs 13.000 euros ,very good car quiet and spacely but unlucky as i am ,the second day hybrid battery goes off and now wait from the dealership i will buy the car to replace the battery with another recondition battery .I have 6month warranty from the day i buy the car so i was l bit lucky and the problem came up fast.I check the car but this is was when u buy 10years car and the battery warranty was expired.I hope in the future the car works good without issues and i will enjoy it!

I still own a 2008 Citroen Relay that I drive most days. Brilliant van! No wet belts, no DPF, no Adblue, solid mass flywheel conversion - and virtually no real signs of any corrosion. I'll keep it alive as long as possible!

Hmmmm... a review of a very, very good performance car delivered with all the enthusiasm of a librarian and with a few mistakes (inaccuracies). Tesla-Vision does not use sensors of any kind, nor radar. Arm-rest (with cup holders) in the rear. All he had to do was grab the headrest and fold it down.

Great review. I have this car myself, and if there's couple flaws with this car, it has to be the troublesome 1.4 turbo engine and the infotainment systems. That engine is well known for needing some special care in order to keep it working well (PVC issues, turbo issues, oil-coolant leaks). But nothing can be done to the infotainment though, which was outdated already when the car was new. No one is selling more modern replacement aftermarket radio for the car, preferably with touch screen, due the designs of the dashboard being problematic for those. Also, the car can lack rear speaker wiring completely, if original buyer bought the car with the poverty radio version, that's important to look at too.

As a gen 2 owner i foind the X ex tremely reliable and the engine smooth. However on choppy roads being shaken side ways shows to me a lacking in the suspension. In that regards the germans are way ahead. Lovely drive on a smooth road or when loaded.

I've been looking at Tiguans for like 4-5 years now, ended up with an EClass for like 3 years which sadly might be written off. Tiguan R Line with the 180+ BHP is what I am after and I am glad I came across your video, its long!! and good - no nonsense biased opinions, just a genuine explanations/statements of all aspects of the car
