Had a 2012 IS 250 with a 6spd manual, never let me down once! Only did oil changes and it took care of me well. Handles really well being RWD, you get the feel of being push through corners. The downside was the gas consumption, it is gutless and drinks gas like no tomorrow

I have Lexus IS 250 2006r , that thing just does not break and driving it is a pleasure. However the ride really sometimes is too stiff on bumps and rear couch does not fold down which is a big minus for me. The body kits for this car are amazing, I still cannot decide which one to take. You wont find anything like that in the competition.

Looks beautiful than current Lexus cars.

We considered this beauty but 2021, sadly Lexus phased out latest IS in Europe

I have a 2009 is250 i've had since 2019. Hands down nice. Dealers polite and friendly. Very well built. Will very very rarely be at a garage other than servicing. Ride a bit firm but you know that engineers have been responsible in the bits that matter. Don't run fuel too low too many times it will tell you in a polite Japanese way. Key fob batteries use up way to quickly have been to dealer twice and twice replaced for free ( they know). Avoid Diesel.

My dad had the diesel version - not good. The manual gearbox was very stiff and difficult to get into gear, generally poor compared to the refined petrol model. A diesel Mondeo from 2008 is better than the diesel IS

Might be the most stress-free, but it's also the most boring. I'll take an E90 328i
