It is very helpful to see other B2B designers have the same issues as me. I also wanted to 'minimise' the amount of data shown on the screen but over time I am realising that was not the right way!

This is too good. I have always know accessibility as screen readers and language translators b ut never implemented in practice. Going forward I see how important is it to know and whoever is explaining in this did a very good job. Very clear and interesting to follow.

I do not agree with you, having a search option is very important for an app or a website, if a user want to find a product on cred then he or shewould have to go through all other products which will increase its session time on the app and it will be very less efficient to find a specific product and inturn the user will be left frustrated, so i think you were pretty biased towards cred you should be more aware and concious of your own bias as a ux designer.
@DesignSundays6 ай бұрын
While I completely agree with your point that for users it should be easier with search but I don’t think they are making an e-commerce platform, they are more of a discovery platform. And, they are solving for brand’s visibility.
@MurthyRishi6 ай бұрын
Oh come on! You being a UX designer yourself are justifying and glorifying such poor User Experience? Why can’t Indian Designers criticise poor design choices??? Who are they afraid of?
@MurthyRishi6 ай бұрын
I agree that Cred is aesthetically pleasing, but for the love of god, accept that its UX sucks.
@onlytrends29166 ай бұрын
I totally agree with you dude, I too find this dude pretty biased towards cred and as a ux designer he sucks at reducing his own bias.
@DesignSundays6 ай бұрын
Hey guys, All I am pointing out is they have learned this from the Malls, and also I don’t think they are an e-commerce platform they are a discovery platform for brands. And, as UX Designers we also needs to solve business problems they have solved for discovery. Cheers!
@rakshitagupta54966 ай бұрын
I don’t think he is saying the design is great! It is focusing on is how it picks an example of discoverability from malls. It’s about drawing parallels between digital and physical experience. He’s not justifying hidden lifts in malls. It’s more about the WHY behind it 😂
@rakshitagupta54966 ай бұрын
Cred is not an E-commerce. They don’t want you to think of a product, come and buy it. They want to create an experience where you buy based on the discounts and price drops. You come in thinking you don’t need anything, and you end up leaving with a cart full 🛒 They are fundamentally different from E-commerce platforms and hence focus on DISCOVERABILITY rather than SEARCHABILITY! And when designing the UX they have to be handled differently. It’s not like a template that fits both together!

Sir I have completed the UX/UI design course on Coursera and build the foundation of the subject. Could you suggest some projects that I can make for my portfolio for an entry level job?
@DesignSundays6 ай бұрын
Awesome, Let me tell you the method: Observe a problem around you and try solving that. Good way to observe problems is to see where people are spending their most time and money. Just see if it's a big enough problem for a few people, can technology solve it, and will they be willing to pay for the solution. just document your process of identifying problem, defining it, solving it, and testing it. And, that will become your first concept case study for your portfolio. Hope it helps!
