I have the starovc tent now know what it can handle enjoyed the video I would of hung my trousers out on a line in the wind so they would dry out quicker the tension band system on the tent made a difference I wonder thanks

@kirsty9452 She was at the vet and she's healthy. I asked if she can do the "easy" munros, with sound paths, little distance and overnight stays to minimise the physical activity - and breaks - and they said its fine as long as I don't over do it. She's doing her 1st munro this weekend - 3km walk and 500m climb :)

Monty that eurohike bbq you linked me was almost identical to the one you guys used here - there is a grill for the top for cooking and it performs fine for £17 - great video (basically any video with Heidi in it xD)

Monty iam here to watch camping videos!. That's what you do. Show me your kit, show me the views ( or lack of them ) , show me your cooking ( good or bad ) , talk about camping, or bushcraft.... remember you are the star of the show!. You are why we all started watching... everybody's numbers are down, as long as you are enjoying it , we will enjoy it. In the morning tell us how the kit performed in the conditions, what mistakes you made, what regrets you have, what was a success what are you proud you did. You don't need gimmicks, they will not increase numbers. Stop being down on yourself and the camps, because that transmits out to the viewers.. chill , enjoy share your love of camping... Take care out there.

Camp on my own at trool for few years now, especially wonter time when no midges and no people! Actually was thinking heading there in couple weeks but found new amazing spot in Highlands. Love loch trool

I camping up on that summit in July. Some cracking spots. Was gonna camp where you boys pitched at but it was a decent night. Bought one of them wee heaters about a month ago after seeing yours a while ago, love it! Wee game changer. ATVB Robert

Was there lots of spots at the top or was it tricky? It looked tricky for 2 2 person tents from video clips we saw. How are you finding the wee heater? How long do you have it on for? I'm sure the thing is perfectly fine in the tent as they generally are ventilated, but the more ventilated the better. We open the doors fully to get a good breeze in then close again.

@ If you see on my channel you’ll see where I pitched. That was more of a single tent spot but further down just at the point where it drops off looking towards to the A82 there looked like loads of nice pitches. I didn’t have loads of time to spare in the morning or I’d had gone for that. Loving it! No had a proper winter camp In it yet, last camp it went down to -4 in the moffat hills but I had my tent sat at 21 degrees at one point relaxing to some ac/dc. Now the clocks are changed it’s gonna make those long nights more bearable. My mate I camp with said he seen you down at loch trool the other week too actually. Was working or I’d had joined him. Loads of decent spots that end of the Galloway forest.

Me and Gaz have had it on for 8 straight hours several times and we did get a headache at the weekend, but probably because we were really uncomfortable in the tent haha. I think I spoke to everyone I saw down at Loch Trool? But aye, that was my Storm Ashley video.

@ ahh nice one. Ohh mate, I dunno if I’d risk it that long. I’ve been doing 15/20 min bursts and doing just what you’ve been doing having the top of my zip open. In my winter tent it seems to take about 5 mins for the temps to get high teens then holds pretty well once you shut it off and seal up the tent. I think as long as it’s ventilated though it should be fine. It’s just the same as those calor gas heaters you used to see in garages and places that don’t have plug in points
