26 is not old starting in muay thai. You're over training. We always train with injuries btw, if you injure your right leg, then work on your left kick. Are you coming through to Holland? I'm 51 year's old and I handle the young whipper schnappers in the gym.

You train way much especially you're just starting out and also you need to stretch a lot and do some strength and conditioning if you're obsessed try to do some light technical session or some video analysis by watching either your old sparring footage or other fighters.

Like others have said, you’ll get more mobility and defense from a bladed boxing stance but I believe the square-ish modified MT stance still has its use in boxing, you just have to change your fight style while boxing. A more square stance would help with throwing power hooks and uppercuts with either hand and would work well with a peekaboo style or general power punching style. However, you would have to be more aggressive with constant forward pressure and blitzes in a square stance and not be afraid to fight in the pocket otherwise you will get jabbed from outside range. A good style if you are not afraid to trade

You’re doing a lot of great things that you said you struggled with in your previous videos like catching/blocking teeps! One thing I do notice is you tend to stick your chin out when throwing long punches. But I think with how significantly you’ve progressed in just six months, you’re gonna learn a lot of small things to adjust from just sparring since you pretty much have fundamentals down. You have a natural affinity for this stuff forreal

I can tell you have a more squared stance due to Muay Thai, which exposes your body more for body shots. Might be a risky stance if you only spar with punches. My first time sparring with a boxer, I always had that MT stance and it did not go well, so I had to learn the boxing stance so that when I sparred with him for the second time, I took less damage. There's actually no reason to do a squared stance during boxing since you don't have to worry about kicks. Try to do a bladed boxing stance so your body is slightly angled to minimize those body shots.
