liam harrison has a nice way of using the elbow to knock the teep away instead of using your hand so you can keep your guard up

If you can't swipe the teeps, try practicing catching the teep with both of your hands. This involves extreme timing and practice because your opponent can trick you into something else, but once catching it, it'll open up offensive technique's that you can dish out, such as being able to bring their leg to your arm pits for a sweep being one of them. What's also a bit difficult is how to catch depending on the teep to; so if its rear, left hand catches under the feet while the right hand holds the top base of their feet, and its the inverse with their lead teep. From what I learned, catching means a different outcome in terms of how you want to approach it offensively, so the sweep have to be little different, your strikes would also be little different, but all the more, its a technique that I feel you can add to your tool set since I notice you've been picking up grabbing your sparring partner's body kick sometimes. Another tip its to be closer your opponents where they can't teep, I see you've also was doing that in the later rounds, but I'm not sure you pick it up. Obviously this one is a bit difficult due to spacing and your sparring partner has a greater understanding of spacing allowing him teep wherever he wants. If anything, your success on the lead kick can allow your entry point in by following up with a cross hook. And its up to you how you can keep the distance close so you don't have to deal with the teaps. And if you can't stay at the distance, than another tip is to also keep moving in different angles, one where their teep has a harder time landing to your body and you can more easily be able to swipe away and counter with your own leg kicks to the back of their calves. Your sparring partner has a great point in that basic does matters. I know the tips I've given you aren't basics, but their also tools for you to play around with so you can have it in your catalog. But the basic is an absolute must with the level you wanna be at. It means sharpening up your defense, your spacing control, striking, kicking, clinching, all that stuff. This why I personally really love this parring, because out of all the sparring video I seeing with you, with only the mma fighter being one of them too, this was also the most technical and playful sparring. You've learned alot from this and I believe your eyes open up so much more on the possibilities that you see from this sparring match. And its ironic how I share the same stuff with your sparring partner. If your not careful, you'll lose alot in the gym/dojo to the point it'll affect your lively hood and you won't be able to fight. And its why I stress to take care of yourself and spar with people you can learn the most from, and not get bash around when your not training for a fight. Another great video and interview by the way. Keep up the good work

@@ACEBOY00 Ummm this would be labeled "technical sparring: not "Hard Sparring" . You obviously have no knowledge of Muay Thai as you missed the whole "Femur" aspect to the comment. I actually don't spar hard. Pay attention.
