(Transmission oil has been drained) Release oil filler plug (1) from engine compartment. Tightening torque 24 11 3AZ. Loosen the overflow plug (2) below at the transmission. Tightening torque 24 11 2AZ. Top up automatic transmission fluid at oil filler plug (1) until oil emerges at overflow plug (2). Start engine and run at idle speed. Check whether automatic transmission fluid emerges at overflow plug (2). If not, fill automatic transmission fluid. Actuate footbrake and at idle shift through all gears ("P" to "D") twice for more than 2 seconds. Then set switch to "P". Check again whether automatic transmission fluid emerges at overflow plug. Check the temperature of the automatic transmission fluid with the diagnosis system. Increase temperature of automatic transmission fluid to 35 ... 45 °C. Top up automatic transmission fluid until it flows over. Screw in oil filler plug (1) and overflow plug (2). Tightening torque 24 11 2/3AZ. Installation note: Parts: Renew sealing rings. Check oil level (transmission oil temperature must be between 35 and 45°C): Undo oil filler plug (1). Slacken overflow plug (2). Tightening torque 24 11 2/3AZ. Start engine and run at idle speed. Unscrew overflow plug (2). Check whether automatic transmission fluid emerges at overflow plug (2). If not, fill automatic transmission fluid at the oil filler plug (1). Top up automatic transmission fluid until it overflows at overflow plug (2). Actuate footbrake and at idle shift through all gears "P" to "D" twice for more than 2 seconds. Move switch to "P" position. Check oil level again. Seal screws when the oil emerges slightly from overflow plug (2). Tightening torque 24 11 2/3AZ. Installation note: Parts: Renew sealing rings.

Brilliant video. Had a Krups Expert machine that I had stored while trying out a new Vertuo model. Decided to go back to the Expert but ended up with all the coffee going into the capsule drawer. Thought I was going to have to bin the machine. Followed your video and discovered dried up coffee was blocking everything. Had a couple of problems fitting back in that extra white part (it just sits underneath and in front of the white coffee dispenser part) and the getting the black top part where the capsule goes back on (there are little sleeves over the roller parts that had slipped to the edge of the machine, stopping me from pushing the part down onto the “rails”). I wouldn’t have had the confidence to do any of this without your video. Now everything is clean and working again. Thank you so much.

Nespresso sent me a new one and didn't ask for the old one back so I figured I'd try and troubleshoot it and fix it if I can then use it as a spare or bring it to work. But it was a mystery how to open it! Now I have it opened and can delve further.

Great video, thanks for posting it really helped me get mine installed on my 2016 X1 F48. Couple of things I missed for others giving this a go; The original cable with the purple connectors needs to be reused. In rewatching I see you kept it but I missed that first time round. I also had to change the iDrive generation to a different setting than the one I thought I had (thought mine was NBT, but turns out it is CIC - type 2 in the instructions). Finally the Aux cable did not need to be plugged into the remote Aux port if the car, I just left it connected to the internal wiring harness. My unit came from AliExpress, was about AU$380. Works really well, can use the mode button to switch to factory drive .

Although you have routed the cable behind the airbag modules, since you routed the rear camera cable through the door seal and trim, if the curtain airbags are deployed, this cable could quickly hit the passengers and cause serious injuries. Is there a way to prevent this? Or do you think you have prevented this? One way would be to route it from the bottom, but I don't know if the rear camera cable would be long enough.

Hello, great video! I have the same car a BMW X25 Xdrive from 2016, in the BMW ISTA documentation it says to open the oil level screw between 35 and 45 degrees Celsius, is that right? Do you plan to drain the transfer case and the rear axle on this model? Best regards, Serge
