This is the best video I’ve watched for this procedure. I used this method to assemble and install my 6112/5160 combo on my FJ, but I remember having to loosen my a-arm cam bolts to do it( I also had a front sway bar at the time ). I removed my sway bar a few months ago and I love it. I’m about to swap front springs again, and found your video when I was looking to brush up on the whole procedure. I noticed that you never loosened the cam bolts when you made this video. Is that because you are also running without a sway bar? I really hope I can skip that step this time around. Thanks for the excellent video! Top notch work!

I recently tried to change spark plugs on my cx9 2017. Couple of things i learned and want to share my experience with you. 1. You might be able to change 1st and 2nd plugs, but 3rd and 4th coil are the hardest part to put back. I tried for several hours and ended up cross threading the coil bolt. I would highly suggest please get it done by Mazda professionals. 2. The mechanic disconnected the hose in order to put the coil. 3. My car was at 98k kms and spark plugs looked pretty good. If I knew it i wouldnt have changed them cuz they look pretty good. 4. I would prefer Mazda OEM spark plugs over NGK. 5. Spark plugs are changed once in a while, i found it convenient to get it done by mazda professionals. Just few learnings. I have always changed spark plugs of my older cars but Mazda cx9 spark plugs are not easy to change.

Hi, is it ok if instead of using the 1/4 inch drive 8mm and 10mm sockets plus ratchet that i were to use the 3/8 inch drive versions of those? I am new to this. This is the best tutorial i have seen for this.

Iridium plugs will easily go 100k miles on an engine that is running properly, not sure why they are telling people to change them at 40k.

I drove through highwater in my Infiniti G35X & hydroloked my engine & the next day it blew. I replaced the engine but for some reason the engine kept going into limp mode. The dealer couldn't figure it out so I went online & figured it was dirty MAF sensors and they told me they dont clean MAF sensors so I drove the car off their lot. Parked & cleaned them like this & it ran perfect 👍

Not without adding a separate remote start module. Some require their own remote, some you can use OEM.

Tip: I did this but when I started the car it was misfiring horribly. The ignition coil must be inserted back at the right angle otherwise it will not make contact with the plugs thereby misfiring.
