I tuned in late last night so I felt compelled to come back today and watch what I'd missed. I still like the idea of the E6 and I appreciate the improvements that GameMT gave to the Plus model; but, after seeing your first look I don't think it's for me priced at $60. Being that this runs Android 11 it should be Project Treble compatible, so unless it's been locked down one should easily-ish be able to flash a newer Android GSI that I assume would fix some of the software jank present. I enjoy tinkering a lot and the hardware seems more than good enough, it's just the fixes to the software issues shown in this livestream potentially being beyond my abilities that's giving me pause. I know that $60 isn't that expensive; but, I feel bad when I buy things, even cheap things, and then for whatever reason they end up just collecting dust. I'm disappointed and my day is ruined over reading the update in the pinned comment about the Powkiddy K56. Not really; but, I was intrigued about the prospects of getting a 16:9 general purpose handheld with a Helio G99 at a cheap Powkiddy price. I recently bought a prepaid phone with Mediatek's Dimensity 700 under the hood and I'm impressed at just how well the D700 SoC performs. From what I've read the Helio G99 is more or less a sans-5G D700 built on a one nanometer smaller node. EDIT: Fixed some jank in my comment.

The fact that early reviews of the RG Cube said Anbernic said the retail units won’t have the light bleeding, why would they still send you one. And what is worst, that people could still get a defect unit. The issue with Anbernic is that they keep releasing units every other month. QC needs to be improved. I love Anbernic, but perhaps I’ll wait for a newer batch. Hope they improve QC. And like you said, these are not $50 handhelds. Perhaps they rushed this one out for the Odin mini.

When you went through all the handhelds, it really hit home how crazy the name of these handhelds are.

Im really hoping my Ebay RG cube I bought on day 1 release doesnt have light bleed. Itll likely take a couple weeks for it to arrive. Not sure if I could handle the delay in returning it while waiting for another unit several weeks. Id almost rather try to fix it myself if there's a fix.

I got sick once I felt really bad I lyed down all day amd puked daily But i was gonna get better, I l knew it! So 3 weeks later i was all better. This was all around 4 or 7 years ago so i dont really remember it that much, really all this was to just type alot to have a reason to not go to sleep and go to collage and what not, but still its nice to type whatever you hear in your head once in awihle, you feel me? No, no no. Come on. Don't call this a "review", because it's not. Every single thing you say about this handheld is extremely negative, some of which doesn't make sense at all. You didn't bother to charge it before reviewing it then faffed about acting like it was broken because of that. You claimed that disassembling the unit made the shoulder buttons work better despite not having played it at all before you took it apart. You call the dpad sloppy, when we can SEE that Soma's sprite in AoS acts perfectly well. You didn't even bother to really review the unit, and the parts you DID bother to turn on, you stuck at the end of the video, and whined about every little thing you could. The problem now is that who knows if this is a bad device or not? You can't be trusted with it, and seemed to have a weird grudge against the thing from the second the video started. You don't offer any insight on what might be good about the thing, and act as though you're on the way to toss the thing into a volcano in Mordor. The screen looks pretty nice? Does this run PS1 games? How well? WHO KNOWS? Just call it a funtime takedown video or something. Don't assume credibility then waste it.

That dumb 1800 usd TJD console is easily achievable by what I did with a Y700 2023 tablet and a modded gamesir G8 Galileo for $350. Gonna be getting the bsp D8 pro and DS10 with the cooler to try out also.

I just bought my RG Cube last night (through Aliexpress but it was Anbernic's official store). I'm really hoping that mine doesn't have the light bleed issue...I might have waited but I wasn't aware the problem was so widespread, and I also had an Aliexpress coupon that knocked $25 off the price (I couldn't say no).
