Is it possible to control the volume on those things?
@ctbrahmstedt11 ай бұрын
Somewhat, but it's basically between loud and very loud.

Hey! Great video. Are you going to post the next one?
@ctbrahmstedt3 жыл бұрын
Oh man, I've taken a pause from videos (clearly) for... reasons. Though I ironically just dug up this gear for a different project I'm working on. I'll do a follow up video just for you, what are you more interested in, this particular RFID/NFC chip, or more of the I2C communications on the Arduino/microcontroller side?

Note for viewers: If item is for a "design" patent, the views must be to the same scale for the patent examiner not to object. Best way to do this is to select all your views on one page and drag them diagonally together to the desired size for page fit.

Awesome tutorial! Where did you buy your elastic?
@ctbrahmstedt4 жыл бұрын
This was a piece of elastic I cut from a 36" bungee cord from home Depot. I was going to get a roll of elastic from Joann's, but, honestly, I didn't feel like making another trip when I was already at home Depot.

That's a plastic choke, copper wire, and led. That's all you need?
@ctbrahmstedt4 жыл бұрын
Yup! Really just a coil of wire and an LED. The plastic ring is just there for something to wind the wire around. Cardboard would work just as well, or if you wound the wire around a spool and slid it off.

Look up "Tinkerkit DMX Shield" on Amazon. There are Arduino libraries that will get you up and running to get your Arduino talking to your DMX device. Install Processing, (Arduino's sister). Using the UART library on both Arduino and Processing, you can get the two talking together. Then look up how OSC commands work. There is a OSC library for Processing that can handle incoming OSC commands on your WIFI network. Then dl TouchOSC on iOS to send the commands.

can you share some of the fft code and how you programmed it? im assuming its running through the arduino?
@fenton06bfenton12 жыл бұрын
Project log? Details on the actual build? Something on a smaller scale w/o the interactivity would be killer for a man-cave while I play music!
