UPDATE!!!!! I found the head rest to be kind of thin and prone to cracking. I have uploaded a modified version of the frame with a thicker head rest to GrabCAD that should be more conducive to casting. I also extruded the brim to be deeper, you don't need to cast it that thick, but it will give you headroom to pour halfway up and not spill over the sides.

The folks over at Budmen.com have created a fantastic face shield design that can be 3D printed and assembled at home. The problem with 3D printing them is the 2-3 hour wait time per frame. In this video I demonstrate how to create a silicone mold from a 3D printed frame that can cast replicas in as little as 5 minutes each. If you have never cast silicone or plastic before, it's as easy as baking. Just don't eat the batter.
