I have a 97 miata but my problem is the lights keep going out, I can put them up and down but they just don’t light up but then light up again another day.

Is it ok if I can only unplug 1 at the front and 1 at the back or do all 4 need to be open?

Just made the mistake of jacking in the middle of the frame rail to be able to put the stands on the points you’ve shown and ended up bending it all the way in. I’d actually recommend jacking from the rear diff and/or front subframe to give you enough room to put stands under the frame rails. The frame rails are very malleable so ideally dont Jack up from them at all and be careful to put the axle stand full across the bottom face of the frame rails, otherwise when you lower the car the edge of the axle stand top will push into the frame rails and bend them in.

My lovely '04 MazdaSpeed rode home on a flatbed tonight, dang it - 1st time in 20 years though, so we aite. I was driving home and the clutch pedal suddenly didn't push back as normal. Kinda flaccid. I coasted to a stop in neutral. Car wouldn't go in to 1st, or any gear. Clutch fully pressed, but it was like the gears were blocked off....? I turned the engine off, then ah...if I pressed the clutch in, it would go into 1st gear. Clutch still pressed... started the engine and it lurched forward and stalled. Hoping that the fix in this fine video is what I'll need... Any thoughts/comments n'at are appreciated!🤞

My car stopped going into gear. Like no gear would open up. This was the 3rd and final time within a month it did it. I opened up the shifter and there is no bushing on the end and I see chunks like particles down in the turret. When I got the vehicle, that shifter was getting really hot. I then popped it off and put a new boot on it. That helped tremendously. I recently changed the transmission oil and differential oil under the vehicle only recently. Now, that it doesn’t go in gear, I wonder if it is because I need a shifter rebuild? Mainly the bushing? Whatcha think?

These screws are not philips. These are JIS. You can tell by the small dot on it. Philips is too narrow angle and it can slip, damaging the head and make it impossible to remove.

Can you help with my 1990? Hello everyone I have a 1990 Miata 5 speed manual that I brought back from the dead after 15+ years of sitting. I have pretty much replaced almost everything. I am having a problem when it’s cold It is misses between 1800-2000 rpm’s. The longer you drive it the better it gets but it never fully goes away. Anyone have any suggestions on what to check. Here is everything that’s been done. New timing belt,water pump, hoses, plugs,wires, gas tank,fuel pump, coil, used Air flow meter, used ECU. I am sure there are other parts I am missing. I have checked for codes and there are none. Compression #1 202 #2 190 #3 165 #4

So you can get away with just cleaning and replacing pump and running it daily after running seafoam and everything else to try to eliminate rust after pumping old gas out and vaccuming my miata is sitting in the same exact situation and i just wanna know if i can save it without habing ti replace the whole tank it doesnt leak it just foesnt start due to pump and im worried i got some in Injectores and engine last time it ran will i be okay 😢
