New World is a great game. I primarily play for it's open world aspects. Played it often on initial release back when it was running simulator and took forever to get to max level lol. Good times. Been off and on 0retty casually since, officially hitting 1,000 hours since day 1. I can't recommend this game enough to people.

One of my biggest problems with the game is that you're probably only going to be making one character and that one will do all of the skills. You have storages in every town that isn't shared for that one character and they are limited in space. Having to bounce town to town to get mats is really annoying

So if I decided to come back at level 60 to pick up from where I left off, I miss out on the new story mission that I could've soloed easier? Kinda makes me not wanna go back now lol

If you run out of things you can do the least you can do is help a friend or a new player, so long as they have an idea of what they need or want, you could extend the natural timeline the game lasts player to player.

I have a job, friends, girlfrien and life….sounds lole playing 1-2 hrs a day is perfect for this game. Many negative comments from people with nothing goin on but game time. Feel sad for you. Put down the controller and go check out real life. So much better. Ur playing to fill an void that will never be half filled. Life is passin u by. U get one crack at life. Dont spend it gaming all day and night

Watched this at 0.75x speed but it would be better at like 0.80x. Maybe that’s something you can do on your end

I think they should actually work on designing the game, implementing the changes, and continue polishing it up instead of making 5 vlogs every single day. That’s just my opinion.

I played Guild Wars yrs ago. Ive been looking around for a mmo or live service that has some longevity and a player bas that helps each other. You GW2 is the way to go?

I played over 5000 hours of GW2 this was over 7 years ago when I had far to much time on my hands, I don't play anymore but to this day you will never find a better MMO it has literally everything, fractions, raids, dungeons, massive open world, PVP which was great but got took over with a bot system, but the raids are such a great team effort and you can even measure you're dps using arc dps or atleast you could making ot even more competitive everyone likes to try and hit the benchmark, probably the mmo with the most builds and classes where most do actually have a specific role and job to do, whether support, tank, dps, buff etc best game I've played fantastic!

But have they improved the story? That's the only way I'll come back. The story felt so empty and dry.

not sure if this will interest you, but if you want a bigger more manageable ui you can enable stretched mode in the plugin hub and set your resizable scaling to 100%, as well as setting your screen resolution to 1080p which will give you better fps

I think that there is one great example of why Guild Wars 2 is the game to play: They have never done anything remotely as cringey as telling the player base that they will lose their character names if they don't login every 30 days.... I gave up on NW shortly after I hit max level. Came back to check on my characters after hearing about that insanity and discovered they were all in need of new home servers due to their previous servers being .. merged, empty? Guild Wars 2 has never had this kind of problem, it is so time friendly in that, as you mentioned with the gear progression, you can leave the game for YEARS and come back to something that is immediately playable without catching up. 14k+ hours into Guild Wars 2, still not bored. :)

As a father of five and a full-time employee, I only have 1-2 hours a day to play games, but this one has brought me immense joy. I don't really understand the hype around newer MMOs that focus solely on endless grinding and back-to-back raids. I prefer MMOs that emphasize exploring the world rather than just gearing up and raiding. If you share that sentiment, you've found the perfect game to enjoy.

Yeah dude some people chew through content like crack cocaine. This game is awesome there’s 100’s of hours in maxing your crafts alone. There is a TON of content to this game and a lot of fun to be had both PVE and PVP. People are just so damn impatient it’s truly amazing the horrible attitudes some people have. New World is my favorite MMO by far. Def give it a try.

Did they get rid of the stupid water mark system, and make it so your don't spend an entire storage worth of materials for one crafting level?

so i got about 300 hours when the game first drop. i tried playing it now in 2024 and i don't see my character, i don't want to start over

2024 season 5 the battle pass no longer gives any transmog. you could complete the entire pass for 2500 currency and buy a single token with it but thats it

They definitely need to make sure console players are on seperate servers because console players typically have severely worse lag. Also there is a benefit to pc players, it will renew interest in the game, generate more funds for them to work with and improve the game. I think some of the things youve said were kind of shortsighted on the business side of things (which is reality). However, excellent job on describing the game itself mechanics wise!

Hold up, Music Skill line? Hell yeah, I'm sold. I love playing Bards. I wanted to wait till aeternum releases because of the pretty bad anti aliasing and it's get AMD's DLAA equivalent with it but eh. I might give this game another shoot sooner. Thanks for the overall video tho!
