Not sure about the pods - they are not very bright in day light esp when not directly in line with the lens. Also being so tucked in they don’t have a great visibility angle.

My car sounds exactly the same on a cold start, no turbo but its rocking the mid pipe and cats off of a 2017 sti (2015 manual crosstrek 😇)

I have a 2018 XV (CT) with a CVT. People are saying I shouldn’t add a turbo and WRX/ Forester XT swap it instead. Thoughts?

If its the 2.0 liter engine the turbo wouldnt be worth it as the engine isn’t built to handle it, you’d probably blow it up after a while. The forester xt and wrx are capable and already come with a turbo so less risky

This is my dream car, a turbo manual one with a nameless exhaust, I'd also lower it to be Impreza spec height and then do like 245 tires over the stock 225s

Just get an Impreza, the cross trek is an Impreza with a lift kit

@@brunohsans9779 Impreza has smaller rims, open differentials, a 5 speed manual transmission that feels like crap compared to the 6 speed TY75 in the Crosstrek and WRX, also the torque split is different too, in the Crosstrek its 40% front wheel drive 60% rear wheel drive and the Impreza is 50/50

@@insid3493Manual Crosstreks and Imprezas share the same 50/50 Continuous AWD system with a viscous coupling. In fact its their most basic system that all non-STI based manual Subarus share including the WRX. You are correct though in that they have different gears in their transmissions but the AWD system functions the same way with the same torque split.

I have a 22 crosstrek 6 speed and I wanted to turbo mine. I’m not that great at this stuff would you give me some pointers on getting in a good performance shop, what to consider, and a ball park price. I just want a bit more power. It’s just too slow

Beautiful bike. I just bought the same, a new ‘22 shipping to me here in So. Florida from a dealer in OK. No one else had it closer and no dealer seemed to know when they would get any more. Arrives in 10-14 days. Question, do you still have the OEM exhaust, and if so are you interested in selling it with me picking it up?

Soup can exhaust. Basically a straight pipe with a tiny bit of noise damping. I've been around the KZbins for years, and I don't understand why so many people comment that these style exhausts "sounds good." No, not really. Tone isn't that good, raspy isn't that good, having all the police in town hearing you isn't that good, hearing loss isn't that good. Most internal combustion engines sound terrible with straight pipes, no matter what the engine is.

I think I ordered the same headlight guard that you have. From what I can tell, it looks like I will have to remove the ring surrounding the glass, and replace it with the one supplied. Is the original one just held in place by clips, can I just snap it out?
