I dont have TN, but I do have other pain, I understand why you say you have to put on a 'mask' to get on with life. In my experience its not just people in my life, but its Drs that assume that because you have a sense of humour or can do some tasks that they automatically think you have nothing wrong with you. I even had an ambo officer (term loosely) that told my Dr there was nothing wrong with my and all I wanted was drugs. NOOOOOOOOOOOOO I am clear of pain meds, but doesn't mean the pain is not there, in fact it surely is, and a MRI confirmed there is a problem. My GP is understanding and meets me on the same page so I can get the help I need. One day I manage, but the next week or so I wont. Please everyone make your DRS listen, or go to one that will, I know this is hard when you live in a small area, and access is not available to another GP. But keep pushing and keep them educated, especially when they pass out drugs like they are sweets, and have no idea what they are doing to the patient. Most meds I have a problem with, and will refuse them until I have researched them myself.

I’ve had TN for over 20 years, but last night made me actually realise why it’s called the suicide disease, the pain was relentless and horrendous, It was the first time I had to call for intervention to just stop it for 10 mins. The Ambulance service were amazing, whilst they never actually treated TN before, they knew how to handle pain, and spasm, and that’s all I wanted, just help to refocus thank you

Very much enjoyed this, thank you. The Precipice Walk near Dolgellau (not to be confused with the New Precipice Walk near Barmouth), is a very picturesque circular walk. I have always walked it anti clockwise as I think the views would be better. Best regards Robin

Hi bro, What's your current runner? I've got the float rides had them a few years after your recommendation love them! Ran my furthest run yesterday just pulled it out my arse (know I could be great if I were consistent) at 17 mile and the sides of my knees are sore (unsure if that's common after a further run) I heard the Brooks Ghost are good. Any thoughts mate? Cheers for the content

Hi buddy, depends what your looking for really. I'm still using the reebok floarride 4. But I also use nike peg 39. I'd say go try on a few different pairs and see how they feel on you. Pain outside the knee is generally itb. 👌

Looking forward to your first race. Are you going to take the camera or focus on your performance? The south canum I did was on canal but it was super muddy, it's been chucking it down recently. I like your hydration strategy, it's something in need to focus on. So you're planning on having 1ltr an hour 1/2 tailwind, 1/2 water? sounds good. Have you trained any long runs at your target race pace? I found this helped in the lead up to my Thames Path 100 and it was tough, like you say without rest. Go for it! I'm sure you'll smash it. I've got the East Devon Round 100k (10,000ft) next at the end of April, then it's the Lakeland 100.
@leedaviesfitness
@leedaviesfitness Жыл бұрын
Soundsike a good calendar mate. Yes I'm expecting g it to be quiet soggy. Yes that's right 500ml of tailwind and water every hour and a slat tab every 30 mins if its hot 40-45 if its not. As for long runs I've done 6 over 20 miles and a marathon all under target race pace. but one 20 miler which I did with a friend. I've seen your video for the canum a few times now lol. I do plan on taking the camera and checking in at the start every 5k then the finish.im just coming up with a question set now to make it like a short documentary style. I'm 100% stick to my pace strategy of 4.55-5.05 per km apart fro the first few km which are downhill from what I've seen.
