I hear TSOL in the music. I doubt anyone has actual Vicious Circle footage. They weren't together long enough.

This is nice! ....but look up the Tielman Brothers live performance, Germany 1960, "Rolling Rock", "Black Eyes", and another I have forgotten. This particular show was included on a The Tielman Brothers homevideo biography DVD, released less than two decades ago. Though the Tielman Brothers, in that "four brother" lineup, were much more "rock'n'roll".... each brother genius on their given instrument. Note; Andy Tielman was playing guitar behind his back, over and behind his head, with his teeth, and with his foot. Just soon as I send this, I am off to find those videos for you.... Cheers!

Maximum rock and roll was the go-to magazine to get the skinny on every scene around the world. The hardcore scene of 1980 through 1985 is a mirror image of the hippie movement 1965 to 1970 . The ideals were the same but the music became more desperate. The punk scene now is a joke. And you can blame the promoters and bands like Green Day for that
@maddogg63 Жыл бұрын
I have just about everyone that MXRNR put out. The is a parallel universe where great hardcore still exists...it is a global thing. Band camp/youtube is a good resource...it used to be fanzines but now it is media sharing and streaming. Zines were uniquely amazing in that point in time...77-87. I have collected so many...but discontinued around 1990. I have next to me in my music room a bookcase full of zine action. Ugghhhh, some I have not had a peep in 30 years...the stories they tell.

ahhh, remember when punk was about freedom of speech, now its about PC culture and woke nonsense...those days where soooo much fun!

exactly. the worst of it all is the old school 1st, 2nd and 3rd wave punkers, that are now super commie lefto jab loving crybabies. maybe that's what happens when you get really old and scared. and old beat up punker hahaha

"PC"? "Woke"? Punk has always stood against bigotry and oppression.
@InFamousProductions Жыл бұрын
@@WY97212 your either super young or super un informed , which is the same end result. there are almost zero true punk rockers anymore. now the green haired leftist are the definition of bigotry and oppression against their own kind and themselves.
