I first heard of china white through the "lexicon devil" book, I remember some Hollywood punk saying "that god awful China white" so I had to know who they were.

Personally I think China White is great. They're one of my favorite LA punk bands due to their great sound (RIP Frank Ruffino, one of my favorite guitarists)

+Johnny Coathanger yeah dude! they are great, and they were one of the bands to put the OC on the map. too bad they never recorded all their other early stuff, have you watched the "surf punk documentary"? there's s small 10 second scene after Casey cola talks about slamming and its footage of a China white pit, I've always wanted to hear the full version of that song.

I love that documentary. I loved the China White footage so much I made my own mp3 of the Dangerzone track that was shown live. There's some great shows going around but I totally agree. Some songs like New Disorder (originally The Outsiders song with frank in the band), Read Between The Lines, Solid State and Criminal should've been on the Frontier release. I have two copies of the Dangerzone LP because I love it so much! I emailed Frontier to see if one day they'll reissue it with a lyric insert and on colored vinyl since every other loveable classic has been. On discogs I added photos for most of the china White members too. There's one for Marc, Frank and James but I might make a zoomed in one for Joey.I just love the band, I wish I had more photos and there was more material. I have their Live Cheap CD album and their Addiction .2 I might upload because they're not on YT. This was a long answer but it's fun to talk about a band you love and influences you. Have a good one!
