So many singers could learn so much from Mahaliah, as also I have. The first time I heard her sing this song, I was impressed that she sings EVERY NOTE, EVERY word as if it's the ONLY note. Someone told me, once, that's how God loves us: that He loves EACH of us as if we were the only one. I didn't really understand it, at the time, but now, after many highs and many lows, but always with His upholding hand there, and His patience, there, walking with me through each moment (whether I was "tuned in" or not) I see, now, that is REALLY how it is. He is right there with and beside EACH of us (and all at the same time) and cares for and wants the best for each of us. Jesus that "not a sparrow falls to the ground your Father is not aware of, and that we are more important than MANY sparrows. (Matthew 10:28 - 31) Each life such as those in Gaza wich is so carelessly, callously and thoughtlessly pushed away out of this world is infititely important to Him and will be received as one of His little lambs to His comforting arms. (News flash!) It has nothing at ALL to do with with religion!

Praise the Lord Jesus Christ! My sweet Sis Mahalia was undoubtedly a true child of God as she lifted up her magnificent voice in song to exalt the LORD! It's so clear to me that she loved our Savior with her whole heart, soul, mind and body! She was for REAL! I grew up in our home listening to her records my parents would buy and play back in the day and I just l-o-v-e her! I'll see her in Glory one day!!!
