Air may be free but the compressor is really expensive. Solvent and a $5 spray bottle from the Dollar Store (plug). Cheap, effective, arrives at your door in 24 hours.

The think that you are missing is water with a little dishwashing soap. And a properly is going to use mineralspiret when a will regreap my clubs. I have no compressor, and have the sperit standing around. So thanks for the info

Try using charcoal lighter fluid. Been using it for years. Work great.

I am satisfied in knowing my becu eye 2’s are and will always be the best irons made. I’ve had mine since highschool in the 90’s and I’ve used pxg, newer pings, titliest, you name it. Nothing compares to the feel and the range my copper eye 2’s have

how stupid would it be to attempt to stamp on a Ping G425 3 Iron crossover after a ton of practice on junker clubs, if so where would you suggest stamping ? Also love the vids prob the only ones I have found that are in depth.

What’s the stamp size of the “impossible possible” lettering?

@@vanquishgolfworks Are you sure?? In the video you said the larger stamp was 5/32” and then the “impossible possible” was smaller. I really like the font of the impossible lettering, those CH Hanson or Young bros? I have the 1/8” young bros, those stamps look smaller and different, 3/32 maybe? Can you confirm the font and size please?

I suspect in case the folded over tape seals off the shaft, preventing condensation inside from drying out.

Ping ISI's don't require ferrules. They work you did is nice as I do the same thing but the ferrules have to go, lol. Just not right on those Ping irons !

HF-100 is totally awesome and you only need a light mist from a pump sprayer. It's like cologne. Just do a few sprays on the taped shaft over your bathroom sink and the grips slide on super easy. I did all mine by hand, no stupid vice or fancy drip tray. If you're dripping solvent you've used way too much. The little bottle that came with my grips is probably enough to last me the next decade. It's only like a few bucks shipped--- all these other inferior solvents and your dish soap are way more expensive.

Nah, the hole at the end of most grips will fit an air nozzle nib just fine. A cheap air gun for your compressor probably came in the accessories, but if not is just a few bucks.

Usually clubs are not engraved but rather stamped. I don't know of any place that will engrave a club but I'm sure you could find one. As far as stamping goes. Any club fitter or builder should be able to do it.

Thanks for the video, I just regripped a driver and almost didn't get it on Tip.......don't wear rubber gloves they just slip on the grip as you push....paper towel like you used works out well..

The tape that I used to "build up" and thicken the grip is 2" wide single sided masking tape. The other tape is special golf grip 2" double sided sticky tape.

Sure. I could see a coach say something to that degree. If you're just starting out there isn't a whole lot of information for a fitter to base their decisions on. However, certain things like how big the grip should be what shaft weight you should have, how long the club should be, etc are all still easily done. You can fit beginners, like yourself easily and starting out with something that fits can really help make learning easier.

How many rounds does it take before the paint starts coming off after a fresh coat?

Because of where the paint is on most every club (the back) the paint essentially never comes off. The paint I recommended is safe for soap and water so unless you get something abrasive in there, it really doesn't wear off.

I use Ronson lighter fluid. Works great and it's cheap. Goes on easy, dries fast.
