Glad you checked it out. Glad you noticed the trailers too. The flalbed and sideboard have 79" tires, I believe. Cargo is more stable with the sideboard trailer. A flaw in its design tho is when you detach, the truck can't back under it. There is a solution. The MiniCrane TT can mount between the 3 slot bed of your choosing and the saddle. You can use it to lift the front of trailers over the saddle. The crane also helps retrieve any cargo you may lose. A mount central to truckbed and trailer is ideal for reach. The stock gearbox is all you need. The gearing is perfect. All "E" class tires perform the same. The choice is a matter of cosmetics. I choose the narrowest of the 79" E class. You can go anywhere with these. The 91s are for giggles and not necessary. Hell, the 79s aren't needed either, but the trailer is level with them. I think this is a carryover mod from Mudrunner. Brilliant concept. Start with the WS Twinsteer, move the front axles back to shorten the wheelbase, quicken the steering, and offer monster tires. It sorely needs to the ability to carry long logs on its back because they can drag the ground while using the log front due to the severe angle the height of the truck creates . It does make quick work of most jobs. I often ignore roads and take waterways for shortcuts. I've had it in water so deep you could only see the tops of the snorkels. 😂

This truck actually works very well with Rng3r's military trailers and Olsom's trailer pack. Some of the colors are the same as the 4x4 and 6x6 versions which means you can set up your own little fleet of these. I have this one and the 4x4 on Highway hauling:The region and i use the small one for scouting and the bigger one for heavy transport aswell as to carry the 4x4 long distances. I use the T300 lowloader on the 8x8 and the M105 trailer on the 4x4 (all in the desert tan color that you used since it's my favourite). To me they seem a bit OP offroad but it might just be me. As for speed they are very different. The 8x8 is much faster than the other two even though they all have a 6-speed box (although the real ones have a 7-speed box). Sound is the same since irl they all have a CAT C7 engine. Tires are nice but the fact that the tan trailers are only available with black rims kinda throws me off. But still these are awesome and a must have if you prefer mods

Z2 dragon wagon also has a live trailer just like this, It be cool if you could put a trailer hitch on your trailer for road train reasons, Also the arktic for me on xbox at least as a issue where the trailer randomly phases through the floor and gets fused into the ground

mods kill the core fun of this game entirely. If i had to just drive , why not play GTA 5 of some NFS game

I'm going to try this thing myself. Anything that can blast through mud hauling long logs on its back is worth a try.

Fun fact and a comment on Ford's logic back then. Instead of merely adding duals and fenders to factory built 4x4 crewcabs with srw, Ford sent factory built dually crewcabs with rwd to be converted to 4wd by Quigley 4x4 in Manchester, Pa. That's right, Quigley had to install the front drive axle, driveshaft, and transfer case. It seems to me it would've been less complicated and costly to add beefier rear brakes, the dually hubs, fenders, and fuel filler tube extensions for the driver's side fender, to a 4x4 crewcab as it was coming down the assembly line, than to ship a ctewcab dually to Quigley and have it converted to 4x4. I think they went to Centurion for further customization. As I lived nearby, I took my then 2 year old '91 Ford crewcab dually to Quigley asking if they'd convert it for me. They were reluctant due to liability. They weren't as legally bound if you ordered one via a Ford dealer. Besides, they said all of the parts were designated as Ford inventory. I said I'd sign a waiver. Then they said they just might have some spare parts off inventory. Said they'd do it for $9000! That's 1993 dollars. I declined. My insurance company wouldn't have agreed to it anyways. Ford did it this way until the 1998 F350 Superduty, which was all factory done. Quigley is still thriving today converting vans.

Looked through your past content. Have you tried the 714WM? Based on the WS TS, but way more awesome. It's a couple add-ons short of perfection. It's actually a pack of 2 with the 714WM-E being slightly extended and with 91" monster tires as an option. There's a mud pit on North Port that brings other trucks to their knees. Not this thing. Top engine, stock tranny, active lift, widest 91"tires. All you need. Drawbacks: There's room for a long log bunk on this thing, but sadly it's not included. And even with the shortest tire and suspension, this thing isn't backing under any semi-trailer. Guzzles fuel and any option unique to the truck, and the truck itself, is super expensive.

I like mods that improve the flaws of the original trucks. But this mod is just too much. Where's the fun, where's the challenge? Nothing breaks, it drives anywhere at maximum speed, even underwater. The fuel supply lasts for the entire game. You can play with it for a while, but overall, playing with such a vehicle is boring.

To answer your question about the exhaust removal, I did that to create more frame space for crane + bed or logging crane + logging frame combos. When you enter the water, turn off the wheel drive. The propellers then start it, and the speed decreases

Better than the kenworth but still needs major improvements… hate that all the big trucks besides the P12 and P16 are slow and lags power holding….
