Great video!!! You don't realize how many leave us in a given year. Sure we know about the greats, but a lot of regular/good players from the past move on as well. Also great that you include the umpires and executives in this video, as they do play a part in this great sport as well.

Buddy Harrelson also died in 2024? Oh my goodness! I wouldn't be surprised if he and Pete Rose going at it again somewhere in Baseball Heaven. But I'm sure that God will condone the use of fisticuffs in his Heaven and have Harrelson and Rose "Kiss and make up".

I'm a Bruins fan and have been since the Bobby Orr era and Fred Stanfield was a part of that era in Boston. He was on the line with "Chief" and "Pie". He was one of the most diciplined players in his time. Never took that many penalties. He always gave you 20-25 or more goals in a season. He was the kind of player you'd want on the top six. He was that good..

You're missing Gary Sutherland who died on December 16, 2024 and Charlie Maxwell who was the oldest living Tiger who just passed away on December 27th. Next time, try waiting until the last day of the year and be more thorough.

Al Fitzmorris passed away on 12/04/2024, just a few weeks ago. He was a right-handed starting pitcher primarily for the Kansas City Royals in the 1970s, winning 16 games for them one year. He came up in the '60s with the White Sox before being drafted in the expansion draft by the first year Royals before being dealt to the Indians for C Alan Ashby and another player.
