Watched this the other day and whilst I was pleasantly surprised that there was none of the usual coming-out/non-acceptance or “straight guy” drama and it wasn’t a complete downer of an ending it all felt a bit flat by that point. I just didn’t buy the boy’s issues. I mean ultimately they were both cheating on their other halves, which was justified I suppose, but lots of people leave someone for someone else and end up perfectly happy (otherwise there’d be no such thing as ex-es) but of course two guys who fell in love with each other just couldn’t have a happy ending so that gay film cliche just let it down. I think if Warren had made a more brave dramatic gesture of apology showing his feelings for Mark and Mark accepting it, or even leaving it ambiguous, it would have made a more satisfying conclusion. Or….at the end Mark goes on a proper date with Henry!😂I felt bad for Henry. If you’re just watching it for hot man action it’s worth a look 😁.

Ugh. I had a feeling like this. An intense ongoing period of emotion, Excitement,Vulnerability, and pure love. It was instant when we met. We became addicted to one another but in a healthy and wholesome way. Nevertheless, our friendship became extremely complicated. Neither of us were cheating, and neither of us were "out." I quickly started to feel him being the one holding me to this earth, to the universe. A love like you see here can happen, and sometimes it will. It will build you up, it will destroy you. It will excite you. It will make you feel very very deep. You can try to replace it, but you simply cannot. It becomes part of you. It's been 12 years since this happened to me. We aren't together and he is..away for a few years, but I still feel this love for him in my heart. I tried to escape it. I tried to replace it, but it didn't work. I will never, ever, love anyone else outside of my family the way that I love him.

Really hated this movie as a gay man - nearly all the characters were awful people, movie didn't really go anywhere and the rugby stuff was purely for 'sex appeal'

That's one of the biggest issues I had with it as well. There's complicated and then there's borderline sociopathic, which is what almost everyone in the film is.

Отличный фильм, посмотрела с удовольствием. Многие сожалеют, что мужчины расстались. На мой взгляд всё логично. Да, они были увлечены друг другом, но вот расстаться со своими партнёрами не решились, в большей мере это касается Уоррена, Марк, на мой взгляд, был готов к переменам в своей жизни. Когда Джон ударил Марка, Уоррен промолчал , а Марк ожидал поддержки. Думаю, что этот случай и был последней точкой в их отношениях. И мучается Уоррен, и плачет, а решительности ему не хватает почему-то. Я на стороне Марка, он решил, что нужно идти дальше и это, на мой взгляд, правильно. Нужно сказать, что Ричард повёл себя в этой ситуации очень достойно,хоть и отношения у мужчин были номинальными. Фильм классный, обязательно посмотрю ещё раз.
