They had a DF500ix for a short time and I was about to buy one and found out they sold them all. The 240v plug was the key thing for me since I have a 50 amp power inlet. But, they are supposed to have an updated version at the end of this month or first of January which will be around 6000 watts, they said. I ended up buying the Genmax GM7500aIED from Sam's Club when it was $799 shipped. 7500/6000 watts on gas and 6500/5500 on propane, which is what I primarily use. Debated on a 2nd one to run in parallel for 11,000 watts on propane but not sure I really need that for as little as ours goes out. Great video and great generators.

I started with a Ryobi saw years ago. I sold all my corded tools at my yard sale. I wore that saw out. Then started buying Bauer tools and wore that saw out also, but it was worth the money. So now I have a new Bauer saw and I bought Hercules saw also. I took back the 7 1/4 Hercules because I hated it, exchanged it for a 6 1/2 saw which is much better. Now I got everything Bauer and Hercules sells that I will ever need. My shed looks like the display at the store. And they didn't set me back too much. Bought a lot of tools on sale. Good tools and great value.

Hi we usually have decent draft .. but live in windy northwest Ohio.. so sometimes when we get 40 to 50 mph winds it can blow out a bed of hot coals and then smokes out the house.. do you think this would be powerful enough to keep the draft going ? Thanks in advance !

I have the old school version of this. I’ve had it for years and I love it. It’s a 10” saw. I’ve made a lot of different craft pieces over the years and my biggest seller is the American flags. Some are custom made designs for LEO’s retired military and several others. That has enabled me to upgrade my equipment in my shop. You are absolutely correct about starting small projects and then going bigger. Upgrade when you can afford it. Not upfront.

As soon as I saw this mitre saw was from Metabo I had to click on it. When I was managing an irrigation shop I used to have a heavy duty hammer drill from Metabo that I used for pump and spray equipment repairs. That drill never missed a beat. It was a beast. So whenever I see Metabo gear I try to get it. I’m actually in the market for a good cutoff saw. Will look into it.
