On the cross bar at the top with the 30 degree cut it may be possible to allign the board with the top and allow the bottom edge to stil out front a little. Then sand down the lower edge even with the walls on either side. This might be a reaolution.

Do you need that big of an Angle on the roof?

I got that measurement when I took a square to the backboard measured from the top of the square down to the center 2 3/8 I hope I explained that right sorry

I’m going to make a similar design, but slope the top and add a lip to the edge to hold a phone. I listen to music while I shower, and someone else needs some entertainment while they “work” 🤢💩
