I do not have a link to it, but I just read an article that jaguar was doing put-,on. The new EV is going to a mildly refresh f type F model with a battery in place of the engine. If this is the case, they did a good job in getting attention. But in saying this,it could backfire as well. Time will tell if it was with the stunt they did or not was worth it. The economy is in the toilet now, and the EV market is crashing.

While the whole re-imagining of brand is absolute WTF moment and retaded. What everyone seems to forget that for past 20 years, they have continued to make luxury cars and grand tourer sports cars. Even during the Ford era their main product fucking X-type, a Ford Mondeo that tries to look like proper Jaguar XJ with nicer interior and bit spicier engine than Mondeo meant to compete with Mercedes C-class and BMW 3-series. In past ten years? XE, that replaced X-type as compact executive car and E-Pace, I-Pace and F-Pace. All "Paces" being electric executive crossover SUV's, ranging from sub-compact to mid size. Last time they had true balls to the walls all or nothing sports car was 30 years ago with XJ220.
