You could have saved so much money if they just diagnosed you correctly early on and think of all the additional conditions you may not have had to go through with early treatment-something needs to be done!

I’m early into my healing journey and I’ve had two ID docs turn me down as a patient but I’ve found an Internal doc that is Lyme Literate. She is out of my insurance and I’m paying cash. I’m in FL and everyone seems to think that it’s impossible to get here but I had a tick bite with the rash, etc. I’m a grown man, and I almost cried when I finally had someone that would listen. Thanks for this channel.

Good job sticking with what you believe is right! I've recently been in a situation that felt similar to your feelings when those closest to you dismiss what you're saying, and even tell you that it's not happening or impossible. That hurts coming from someone you thought knew you for so long. It takes inner strength and discipline to do what you've done. You are a samurai of the American healthcare system! Good job again. Many people don't survive our American healthcare system!

Please try hot baths with epsom salt. It Poland lyme is cured and recognised very well and we have labs to test as well. I have improved so much by takimg Buhner's protocol, healthy diet, no sugar and no gluten, baths in Epson salt twice a week ❤

Thank you for your video. I looked up about herxing because last night I was in a severe amount of pain and it wasn’t in just one area. It was all over my body. Have you ever felt like you were getting a fever but not be hot? I get that often especially after a hard day at work.

I've been going through this for like 10 years. I've been gaslit by medical professionals and family , but I'm finally seeing a functional medicine doc and I do have a positive lyme band, along with several mineral deficiencies. The type of anxiety almost seizure like experiences you are talking about sound a lot like what I believed were my first panic attacks. No history of anxiety before that and the onset was sudden. I struggle daily with physical and mental symptoms, a never ending list

I think I did develop anxiety and depression over the years from struggling with all of this and not feeling seen or heard, knowing that my body was screaming at me that something is very wrong

This is the first 'Lyme story' on KZbin I could relate to. The first one also, where the person had actually been positively tested by Specialty Labs and I know you and your doctor are legit, since he's the same guy who finally diagnosed me, after going without a dx for 25+ years. Before that, Lyme wasn't even on my radar and I was often told I was just depressed, crazy, etc. Thanks for sharing! So many Lyme stories are by people with no testing or who had active Lyme. I have a strong desire to share my own, but I've been afraid it will affect my business reputation. You are brave.

Hello dear, I just wanted you to know how much your videos helped me when I was infected last year. 3weeks post bite I secured an LLMD and was treated aggressively. Unfortunately, 6 months post treatment some neuro symptoms returned. Back on treatment however I am functional and still working. Had I not seen your videos I would not have had that initial aggressive treatment that I believe prevented serious injury and less tolerable symptoms. So, thank you!! And I hope all is well with you! ❤️

Hi. I know this video is two years ago but I hope you can give me some feedback. My Lyme eia screen was positive. Then my Lyme IGG and IgM are both negative. IGG bands 41, 30 and 18 were seen. I was told that I do not have Lyme. Is this the case or should I still get treatment with doxycycline?

I’ve been told a positive WB and a negative Elisa means no lyme. (When doing the test awhile later after getting bit) if I truly had lyme.. wouldn’t the Elisa have been positive too since WB detected antibodies? also I thought a WB could be false positive. Thanks :)

This was incredible! It’s like someone for the first time knows what I am going through. I have been in the ER 4 times. Finally found a doctor who diagnosed me. Just now starting treatment. It’s been 4 years of trying to manage symptoms. Thank you for this!!!!! I’d love to speak with you about how you managed the POTS.

I just tested positive on the Western Blot for bands 39,41, and 58. Haven’t spoken to my doctor about the results yet but I’ve been sick for over 3 years now. I’ve been checked for almost everything under the sun except Lyme, until this week. My rheumatologist completely dismissed me and refused the test a year ago. My family doctor brought it up to me last week because my symptoms are sooooo chronic but incredibly random. Here’s a few of the issues I’ve been dealing with the past 3 years: 3 hernia surgeries because the first 2 messed up, heart palpitations to the extent of being admitted in the hospital for tri and bigemini, severe and chronic diarrhea, SEVERE back pain, bone spurs in my hip, lesions found on my liver, severe inflammation that was treated with biologics injections and Prednisone, joint pain that’s almost debilitating, sensitivity to heat and hot water, night sweats, daily nausea with sweating that I suspect is MCAS, Chronic and severe fatigue. I struggle with feeling like I need to yawn to get a full breath, air hunger. No doctor has found any solid answers about ANY of it. And I’ve had multiple tests; brain mri, brain angiogram for suspected aneurysm, colonoscopy, EGD, EKG, tilt table test, physical and chemical stress tests, blood tests for rheumatoid negative, A1C is perfect, CRP stays as high as 58 when in a flare up of pain. I’m soooo tired of feeling like I can’t get through 1 minute without pain somewhere.

I've been symptomatic for years. I'm an archaeologist and get a lot of ticks. Part of the job. I've basically pushed through issues believing they have been due to the work and getting older. My son's girlfriend had an odd bite which got me researching Lyme's only to find out you don't have to have the rash or bulls eye to have Lyme's so when I got my annual physical a few weeks ago I requested the test. My dr, knowing my line of work especially the fact I work a lot in NY, went straight to the Western Blot. I got a call a couple days later and was told, "you tested positive on the Lyme's disease test and we are referring you to an infectious disease dr as we don't fully understand this test". I picked up my labs and started looking over my test. I was actually NEGATIVE on my IGG Blot (only had 41 reactive) but positive for my IGM with reactive on 41 and 39. I haven't had a tick bite in over 30 days and have had symptoms spanning from 6 years to a little over a year depending on symptom. CDC website says to kick out my IGM positive results because of that. That then means I'm negative. I'm still waiting to get in at Vanderbilt. I was refereed over a month ago, and even though my dr and I have made multiple calls, they are still 'going over my labs'. I have most of the untreated Lymes symptoms other than diagnosed heart issues- reoccurring extreme fatigue, ptosis in my right eye, numbness in my hands, burning and skin speckling/purplish red patches on my feet, bouts of shortness of breath, heart racing, chronic dry eye issues, problems sleeping, recurring anxiety/depression, constant brain fog/memory issues, neck tension migraines that most usually don't kick, "arthritis" in my legs, shoulder, back. That being said, all these can be explained away by my previous thoughts....that my line of work is taxing and I am getting older. If I could just get my mind back and kick the fatigue I'd be so very happy. When my drs office said I had Lyme's I was actually relieved and now, I'm even more disappointed because for a brief moment I had....hope.
