At about 40:34 you make the claim that Jesus travelled the world, but that isn't true at all. I know there are myths that he traveled the world, but the scriptures refute that idea. Matthew 2:40 has a JST that is extremely important. JST Matthew 2:40 (JST Matthew 3:24-26 states, "And it came to pass that Jesus grew up with his brethren, and waxed strong, and waited upon the Lord for the time of his ministry to come. And he served under his father, and he spake not as other men, neither could he be taught; for he needed not that any man should teach him. And after many years, the hour of his ministry drew nigh."

I have said for years that the Book of Mormon was political and was a history of the people of nephi fighting for freedom. Freedom of religion for sure but also a fight against slavery, dominance and totalitarianism! When someone is censoring you, compelling you to do what they want, they are entering the realm of Satan. Lucifer wanted to take our god given agency and Force us to obey god. God Wants Us to CHOOSE HIM!

"They were sitting around by day and searching for treasure by night". Pretty hard to search for anything at night. Sounds like something a jealous person would say. Then when you realize that the process of turning maple sap into sugar requires keeping a fire burning 24/7, the night comment makes sense. So a lazy person might look at a family that's burning fires all night long and being industrious and come to the conclusion that they must be searching for treasure.

The constitution is the government of the kingdom, the only issue is that it doesn't include the whole world yet. The council of fifty is basically the privy council, where import leaders of the government, the church, social leaders, etc. are brought together to counsel on what course of action to take. The council doesn't give law in the way we think of it they simply agree on a course of action and then the government, the church, private organizations, implement their part of it voluntarily. It is basically the mirror version of a secret combination but righteous.

Not sure that the Anglo-Saxons are Nephites rather than just Ephraim but a lot of the Scots are descendants of the Picts who all the neighboring peoples said in their records came from islands somewhere north (and maybe west) of Britain and Ireland. Also we know at least some Icelanders are descendants of a North America indian woman. So the Scots are probably part Nephite but not sure about the English, and Irish, or Welsh none of whom really mixed with the Picts. Also, this connection to the American indians could also explain why Freemasonry that originated mostly in southern Scotland has so many similarities to the temple rituals; because the righteous Nephites would have had them and would have preserved at least parts of them.

I agree that Joseph Smith jr was a great man but he is not God. He had an assignment and he finished his assignment. Joseph of Egypt was a great man but he finished his assignment. Moses was called to bring Israel out of Egypt. Jesus Christ was a God but he didn’t come as Joseph Smith jr. in all assignments Jesus Christ called a Joseph of Egypt to save Isreal He called Moses to lead Israel out of Egypt. He called Joseph Smith to open the last dispensation. He has called a man to close that dispensation. That man is not Joseph Smith. You can speculate all you want and reason and try to determine that Joseph Smith. Is both but it is still speculation. But I tell you that Isaiah is the key Isaiah speaks of three people. Stem of Jesse or Jesus Christ the Root or servant out of the root of Jesse. He sets up the ensign or the gentile church. Then of course the rod who comes from the stem of Jesse or is a blood descendent of Jesus Christ the Rod is laid upon with much power. I wish I could tell you more because it would clear up Joseph Smith jr patriarchal blessing. But what I have said or written is true and I so prophecy and testify. And the time is close that all that will not hear the words from the will be cut off. This will be the separation of the wheat and the tares. I am forbidden to go any further

I've never read novels, what are the Top 3 Jane Austin books regarding love and gospel principles?
@JosephSmithFoundationАй бұрын
Hannah: Great question! It really depends on what lesson you are wanting to emphasize because they have different messages. For example, Sense and Sensibility is really good for teaching temperance of emotion-how to feel very deeply but submit those emotions to principles, self-sacrifice, nobility, and honor. It emphasizes the difference between what real love looks like vs. lust. Emma is great for teaching meekness, overcoming flaws, learning humility, and (especially for women) how to listen and learn from a good (though flawed) man who is trying to help you grow and overcome. Mansfield Park is about being true to your principles and at the same time, exercising long-suffering and patient love-being able to see someone struggling (in this case the male protagonist in the book) for who they really are, and help them overcome those weaknesses with diligent patience, love, and concern. Persuasion is about the difference between being someone who is willful and stubborn, vs. strong and principled. It also emphasizes the mistakes made when anger and hurt drive us, instead of forgiveness and compassion. Northanger Abbey echoes Joseph Smith's warnings on a "fanciful and flowery and heated imagination." Pride and Prejudice is about learning how to balance having principles and at the same time loving people who are beneath youth and are struggling, as well as being careful of passing false judgements and being duped by flattery, because you gravitate to what is comfortable and do not want to see your own flaws. There are so many more lessons in her books, I'm barely skimming the surface here. Contrary to the "Mr. Darcy" hype out there, if you actually read her books, her characters (both male and female) make mistakes, grow, learn, and have to overcome. Relationships are rooted in respect for one another because of their character and morality-rather than sensual passion. My dad would always say, "Real men read Jane Austen," so they are good for boys too!

Hannah I've been in this fight since I was a teenager, almost 20 years. Learning about the founding of our nation, trying to teach these principles, praying to God to tell me what to do, and sadly it seems not enough people care, or are even aware of "our awful situation" and its getting pretty dire. I want solutions, but at this point Im going off grid and getting ready, that seems to be the only answer Im getting at the moment.

Hannah, do you think that American History will ever be restored to the masses of this country? These history Progressive revisionists have stolen these treasures of history from us painting our founders in a false, distorted lens through our education system. Maybe the Trump administration will make these corrections as he has promised to teach people to respect our country again. What say you? Any hope?

Sister Hannah, as you produce these videos, you're teaching me hard cold facts of our wonderful church. As I learn this from your teachings, I feel like Moroni preparing his people for battle. Alma 48:7 writes, "Now it came to pass that while Amalickiah had thus been obtaining power by fraud and deceit, Moroni, on the other hand, had been preparing the minds of the people to be faithful unto the Lord their God." I see Richard Bushman as Amalickiah where Richard Bushman is trying to obtain power by fraud and deceit while making lots of money with his books. Every detail fact you teach me is helping me build my mound of dirt to throw off fraud and deceit.

I find the project based education led by fathers after the children are about 8 is very interesting. This is Hebrew style of education v. Greek style where experts with fun, food, & fantasy seems to be a focus. I have seen many public schools where the youth don't thrive & it is a bad culture at home & at school.
