YES THE SPARK CONTROL X WILL FIX THIS!! But you should be able to do the same thing with that foot switch. You could go into the foot switch settings and assign any button to what you want to do it could be to change the microphone effects with one of the buttons You could use any of the buttons so on the Control-X you have six buttons that you can assign to anything. Again I don't see why you can't do that with the spark controller you have right there.

@@thefix-itguyreviewer8151 duuuude! You’re right! I was able to customize the footswitch to change presets from both inputs. Thanks for the comment! I’ll definitely upload a video about it.
@spurlock5419 сағат бұрын
@@thefix-itguyreviewer8151 upon further inspection, there are limitations with the footswitch. What I would want to be able to do is control the delay pedal exclusively on the vocal preset. The limitation is that you can only control the stomp box on the active preset. This means if you change guitar presets you will be turning the guitar delay on and off. One workaround would be to sacrifice two switches to go back and forth between a vocal preset with delay and one without. I don’t want to lose a switch and I don’t want to hit two different switches. This will lead to issues with switching to the wrong guitar preset or having the wrong vocal preset on. It helps my brain to have two channels separated with the footswitch to control the guitar side and the mic mute pedal to toggle on my spark vocal channel.

Won't the Spark X Control do the trick?
@spurlock54112 күн бұрын
It should be able to, but I don’t have one to try it. It seems like you should be able to swap controlling the guitar vs the vocal channel with the A-B function. It still would require a lot of tap dancing and hoping that you don’t want to change both near the same time. Example: Step on guitar channel 2 Step on B Step on vocal channel 2 The direction I want to go in is one less button press. I would be limited to one vocal effect per song but that doesn’t seem like a big deal yet.
@thefix-itguyreviewer815111 күн бұрын
The x control You are able to go into the settings and change any of the pedals foot switches to what you want it to do assign it to anything. I just got my spark but I tried this with the mini in the meantime.. I was trying to use the Jimi Hendrix experience Wawa with an expression pedal. It wouldn't work with the regular configuration. So I went into the assignments I made my own custom one where channel 1 2 and 3 is all I need acoustic guitar, rhythm, and lead all different levels. And then I did channel 4 button to turn the Wawa pedal on and off. It works great but unfortunately Spock's processing power stinks. So if you use the Wawa if you had a compressor in that spot you can't move it I'll put it somewhere else or swap it out which stinks UNLIKE THE BEST THING THAT'S OUT THERE MY LINE 6 HELIX 10 YEARS OLD DOES EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING YOU CAN IMAGINE PROFESSIONAL SOUNDS WONDERFUL NOTHING COMES CLOSE TO IT!! So usually I have a compressor first, then a distortion pedal using only the tone control to tighten up the bottom end of the amp just like in real life. Then a phase 90 WHAT YOU CAN'T USE IN THE FRONT OF THE AMP ONLY IN THE BACK WHICH DEFEATS THE PURPOSE OF SOUNDING LIKE EDDIE VAN HALEN DOESN'T SOUND RIGHT ALMOST USELESS!! Amplifier, then the EQ, and then delay reverb. Now that I'm using the Wawa I can't use the compressor anymore stinks. So I had an old cry baby maybe 30 years old still works fine I put a rechargeable battery in it don't have to plug it in That is hooked up to my mini which is now going to be hooked up to the edge. And then I have a wireless in front of the Wawa pedal The cry baby. My whole point of all this is that ( with certain assignments you could probably make one for your microphones turning something on and off ) But my goodness the company drives me crazy MONEY GRUBBING.. they need to fix that pedal orientation to put them anywhere that's been around in every other amp modeler forever!! And I need to stop money grubbing they could have easily last year put everything that's in the edge INTO THE STEREO LIVE SPARK!! They refuse to do it they don't even give you enough power for certain things they will not couple the most power with the live, the looper and everything the edge has because you buy that amp and you wouldn't buy all the other ones THEY'VE NOW TURNED INTO A PHONE COMPANY!! Trying to get you to upgrade every year. We all know they could have put the looper in the live because people have been talking about it for 5 years now. They purposely didn't do it gave you a less powerful edge. AND HOW MUCH YOU WANT TO BET NEXT YEAR NOT EVEN 2 YEARS AFTER THE LIVE CAME OUT THEY'LL PUT THE LOOPER IN TO MAKE YOU BUY THAT ONE! And not to mention what about customer support. And then muddy grubbing to get the Jimi Hendrix experience You should have At least one Wawa pedal for free but nope $20 for that lol.. Customer service stinks, unlike Mackie, and line 6 You can talk to a real technician.. they're saving money on customer service TAKING THE OVERPRICED MONEY YOU PAY FOR THEIR PRODUCTS PUTTING IT ALL INTO MARKETING!! For instance the live version as marketed as can keep up with the drummer yeah if it's a quiet drummer and everyone's quiet. Already been proven cranked up all the way what you have to heavy metal drama another guitarist and a bass player YOU WILL BE DROWNED IT OUT!! Because it's only 118 DB RMS 121 peak. That's at 1 m. If you're about 5 to 10 ft away you're lucky if you get 98 DB RMS. It doesn't matter about all the Watts. Matters how efficient the speaker and what it puts out so you use the DB. This is why the live has horns. More efficient.. So anyways that's my take. I like their products they're really good You could use them professionally. But it really isn't compared to the line 6 Helix which has been FOR 10 YEARS!! Can put petals anywhere, BUILT LIKE A TANK!! The expression pedals work amazing sounds the closest to a real tube amp that I've ever heard.. sometimes I can't even tell the difference and I am ( guitar luthier ant builder for over 30 years ) But I know spark will continue to money grub not giving you enough Watts, but if you want something loud with all the other features you have to buy this product, and then give you a little bit less watts and sound output, to force you to buy something else. I mean all they would have to do. Is put everything into the live last year and then why would anyone buy the mini, the edge. Cuz it's not a heavy speaker, it has stereo speakers. You could just use that battery-powered. Again nope nope nope nope GIVE ME YOUR MONEY!! Great video Peace out God bless thank you!!

@ I completely agree. I think Spark has one of the best UI, but they keep wasting money on hardware. The Edge came out of nowhere and made the Spark 2 obsolete within weeks of it launching. Not being able to fully make your own signal chain is annoying. It seems like they are intentionally leaving features out so you will keep buying the next one. How many amps can we buy? They have to make something like a Helix eventually.

This thing has so much potential with the vocal effects. I tried running two mics tonight and using a delay on the mic running through the spark.
