Good vid. I agree it's so good to be outdoors. Good filming. Waun Fach, the Dragons Back is beautiful. So many go to Pen y Fan and miss out on it. You mentioned Grwyne Fawr, the smallest bothy. It's a great little place. I recently stayed the night there. Hope you get there too.👋👍

Another cracking video Rich. You’ve inspired me to want to go an attempt the Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge. If I’m perfectly honest I’d never considered it until watching this. Although I hope the weather is nicer to me than it seemed to be for you. All the best Aiden.

Thank you for the comment! I'm glad it has inspired you to check it out, it really is an awesome and beautiful trail. I'm also looking to try the other 3 peak challenges next year. Oh wow - the street entertainer with the swirling tassel was in our restaurant after summitting - and we saw the white dog in Imlil - a dead ringer for our own dog who'd passed away 3 weeks before me and my daughter did the hike!

I loved the instrument he was playing and that dog was a bit of a celebrity in the area and I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your dog. I hope you and your daughter enjoyed the experience of the climb as much as I did!

@Richywayne Жыл бұрын
Congrats on your summit and thank you for your comments. It really is devastating. The people in Morocco and in the Atlas Mountain range were some of the kindest and most humble people I've ever met and we made a lot of great friends and my thoughts are with all those sadly affected by it. We are still waiting to hear from a few other guides. A few from my group have also sponsored me for a hiking challenge in aid of the earthquake relief effort. Hopefully this will help the emergency services reach and assist those in need as quickly as possible.

Great time out Rich. It's been a while since I was up Waun Fach - it's changed a lot with the paths etc. A few blocks on the trail and wrong turns but a good walk up reminiscing about the Moroccan trip. Well done - yeah dig a bit deeper. You did that alright. Lovely drone shots - I was spotting old walks and adventures. Well, good going. Enjoyed that. Mark

Another top quality video, I went to Morocco a few years back and one of my biggest regrets wasn’t doing this mountain. I really like what you did with the google earth shots by the way this helps to create a full picture. Did you try any of the local delicacies whilst out there. Food cooked in Tagine was amazing and the Berber omelettes were also amazing! As always really enjoyed watching and looked like an amazing trip one I’ve now added to my bucket list. Best wishes Aiden

Thanks for the comment! I couldn't recommend it enough to climb Toubkal. It felt a good introduction to the bigger mountains. I really enjoyed putting the maps together and like you say, I think it helps people get a better idea of the route. The food was amazing, the Tagines in particular tasted incredible and I remember the omelettes being very good. The people were very helpful and friendly and I learned a lot about the Berber Culture. All the best - Rich
