Greetings! I hope all is well with you. I'm in a group project for my consitutional law class and we have been tasked with doing a podcast. My group and I have chosen to speak on the 1st amendment. More specifically cancel culture and how this impacts the 1st amendment. We have to have a speaker in order to get those points on the rubric. I reached out to this lady almost two weeks ago and she was interested . However, my group and I were unorganized and she could no longer help us due to short notice and her schedule filling up. Long story short-- May we interview you?! I think it would be awesome to get a scholars perspective and.... the project is due April 8th. Corporations can only deal with corporations. 😉 Understand the cestui que vie act 1666 and why it exists. Valid contracts have to have been signed by both parties. Anything verbal can just be hearsay without proof.

I'm a 1L in the US but I think most of our tort law is functionally identical. There are a few differences and the US recognizes some torts that the UK doesn't and we do it in a different way sometimes. But most of this is probably true for the UK, too. Fun fact: after you've practiced in the US for at least 9 months, you can apply to take the solicitor test in the UK and be an attorney there, too lol That's how similar our systems are.
