I'm a 1L in the US but I think most of our tort law is functionally identical. There are a few differences and the US recognizes some torts that the UK doesn't and we do it in a different way sometimes. But most of this is probably true for the UK, too. Fun fact: after you've practiced in the US for at least 9 months, you can apply to take the solicitor test in the UK and be an attorney there, too lol That's how similar our systems are.
