The rapping is really bad in a proffesional hip-hop sense, but the passion and love is there. I hope youre doing what makes you happy. and have this to show to your kids or family one day and laugh haahah. But thank you for taching me how to build a grape trellis!!

I bought one similar be for must less, Caught the special. The Wire is much stronger. It is fence wire and has larger holes so I purchased 1/2” hardware cloth and went all the way around from ground to top and across the top. Now I’m going to actually lift it and run hardware cloth across the bottom, completely attaching it about one foot up on each side. I know it a lot but I had a neighbor’s dog come in and dig under and killed all 7 of my new chicks. They were about 3 months old. That was so traumatic, so yeah, I’m covering the whole thing with 1/2” hardware cloth. Using 48” and 100 ft. I also bought 36” just because it was on sale. So the money I save on the run, I put in hardware cloth. So please be aware, everything wants to eat the chickens. Hope everything works out well for you and your chicken experience.

We built the 6x8 HF greenhouse indoors on a concrete floor. They send just the number of M8 nuts and bolts and they fell many times during the process ... the point being that if you are building outside have tarps under and around to be able to find them more easily. Ours was the black unit which adds complexity to the assembly. Look at the pictures VERY carefully ... if they show a diagonal piece just touching at the joint that means no amount of overlap will work later on. The engineering is well done, but the instructions could be better. We built it with two people; a third would be helpful. The most useful tool is a M8 socket driver (looks like a screw driver). You only need an M8 and M10 (metric)nut drivers and we purchased them from Harbor Freight as a complete set. The socket end of the M8 is too deep, so put a drop of glue in the end so that the nut will screw onto the tiny M8 bolts. a 4 ft step ladder was a must. Be careful to keep the framing from tipping over during the construction so as to keep from bending up the many parts of the walls. It will test a good marriage but is worth it once assembled. Good luck!

I have a smaller version of the same thing, in the summer if it gets hot in your area instead of pulling off the cover to cool it off; try putting a reflective blanket on-top (cools it down dramatically and the plans get tones of ambient light through the day

I bought one last year and I put landscaping timbers down and bolted it on to them using electrical conduit clips. It was great but this past spring we had a really hard wind, even though I opened up the door and opened up the side windows to let the air go through it lifted up Frame ripped ties and put a big gash in the front with the door was the frame and I on top of the frame zip tied it down and I’m using it as the trellis to plant squash or cucumbers and let them crawl up and let them hang down pretty easy. I am thinking about buying a bigger one, but I need to trim some trees down , so I might consider buying a bigger one because I might use half of it as hydroponics as a small raised bed area to keep the critters out since I got a bunch of squirrels in the backyard Joe from Springfield Missouri

Nobody should ever buy from vevor they have only chat room customer service. sent a plucker that was mangled and dented box destroyed motor didn't work and only offered 100$ on a 360$ plucker please do not promote or support them! Its disgusting how we were sent a completely damaged product with proof and were offerend 1/3 of what we payed. We are a small family homestead and 360 $ loss is a huge hit. Buyer beware!!!

So sorry your environment is struggling with chemicals. We are lucky living in the side of a mountain in Wales where the only agriculture is sheep and Xmas trees. It is cold 1000 degrees up but our environment is relatively clean. Good luck with your project.

I need a privacy fence the deer ate my whole garden the mountain lions have moved into my area and driving the deer from the lake area up to our land, it’s such a problem here in Texas the farm commission and Texas parks and wild life announced that mountain lions can be hunted or trapped year round like our wild hogs and if you have a garden you can take 2 deer ( where I live they travel in herds 10-50 it’s a real problem

Last year I got grapes from Home Depot, planted them, and they died. This year I've purchased more and I'm going to plant them in pots first and then transfer outside, is that a good idea or no?

I have honestly never tried that. Always have started them in the ground. I'm sure there are definitely videos and/or articles out there of people who have tried. Would be interesting to see if the start out better that way.

Cold in texas😂... In Wisconsin we don't give the chickens heat. God gave the birds that all weather coating. ( Ya the combs get frosted but their wild counter parts... Turkey, pheasant dont have the luxury of a water proof roof) Lime and sulfur? Quano is nitrogen and sulfur and any bug that wants to lay eggs in the pile is free chicken food. Maggots don't stand a chance against a chicken. (We dont have fire ants) But our chicken will tare a suger ant hill apart. My birds are free range gor the most part. Predators are kept at bay by the neighbors sheepdog and donkeys. I may loose a couple birds to the raccoons but we can trap them out quick and usually they go for the feed not the birds first.
