How about you just don't response to him I don't know why some Ham Operators response to jammers all you doing is instigating the person to keep doing it you are just as bad as the Jammers I think all instigators should have their license pull.

How do I get started in Ham radio?
@GreatLakesReliance3 ай бұрын
First, you have to get your technician license. That gives you VHF/UHF and part of 10 meters. Then you can move up to your general class license. then if you want to, you can move up to the extra crash license that gives you more frequencies on HF. ( I have a general class license.) look up on KZbin how to get your ham radio license there are hundreds of videos on it and it’s pretty easy.

Would 615 be high for 23.8 ? I weld on a millermatic 252 ( have been for around 6 years or a little more ) and at 23.9 im at 420 wire speed lol. Im also only welding 1/8 inch metal but i assumed you would need more wire speed for more metal lol.

I depends on what shielding gas, and what wire size you are running. I’m using 95/5 gas, and 035 wire. ER70S-3

I'm not really understanding why you're using .035 wire on such heavy material. I realize that you can make it work but time is money, this just seems stupid to me.

At one time I had a 2 meter radio with vox and unintentionally it would key when driving. when I discovered the error I turn vox off then went on line using my call sign and apologized to those hams who had been using the repeater. we lll make mistakes but self- correct. I value my ham license (since 1977) and want to keep on the up and up. 73

Wut??? wut??? iam kinda lost: a 0.35inch or 0.9mm wire, at 23.5V, at 615ipm or 15.6m/s THATS NOT A SPRAY TRANSFER. It doesn't matter what kind of welding gas you are using. More correct way to describe this transfer mode is intermediate or dip transfer. You kind SIR seem to be a experienced welder but... the welding proses DOES NOT sound like spray transfer nor the bead looks like one. With all due respect.
@anw8567 Жыл бұрын
Just one more thing a 0.35 wire on 3/8 plate is a waste of time.

I Guess it's on the Edge of Spray going into Short Circuit Transfer. and we use 95/5 gas

It's not 3/8 Plate. I'm putting down a 3/8 Fill it. 0.35 is what They want up to use.

@@GreatLakesReliance ok, my bad... top plate looks like 50mm (yes Iam European).
@anw8567 Жыл бұрын
@@GreatLakesReliance ahh... (press X to doubt) i have very little experience running 0.35 wire... but i mainly run 0.40/1mm or 0.45/1.2mm wire. So the best and easiest way to tell when you are doing spray transfer is sound. There will be no that frying bacon BS, you aim for hissing. In YOUR case SIR i would recommend to start at least at 25v and around 400ipm. Of course every machine is little bit different, every wire as well. PS thanks for reply and would love to see what settings actually are needed for spray transfer in this case. Marry Xmas.
