It looks like backscatter ionosonde radar sweeps used for OTHR systems freq. settings.

I thought those generally sweep wider, one direction, once, to cover enough bandwidth to describe the behavior across the whole band?

That interference and noise makes it extremely hard to hear anything. Anyway to eliminate that?

I'm going to try to hunt it down. First im going to connect the radio to a battery and shut to power to the house off. And take it from there.

@@GreatLakesReliance I know exactly what that is, it is a Florescent Light right there! I had the same signature on 160 meters and 20 meters and it was my garage fixture Ballast!!!!!! I can turn the light on and off and reproduce the same exact signature.

@@greggabry3128 Thanks for the Info. But I have No Florescent Lights in my house. and it go's 24/7 never stops. I'm thinking it's coming from my next door Nabors House.
