This guid is too situational, they dont always do like they did in your video. Fat chic woke up for me before i killed it and droppee a bomb on me and lavathian did different move at start of the fight,moogle also summoned a bomb and killed me

That should not have work but it did how your setup is weaker than but I get nuke instantly with fire resist max on each of my characters so what I'm doing wrong

The devs, hmmm I feel like Kamura wand is ONLY useful for 6/7 of the summon fights in the game, lets take the 1 physical summon and make it magic too. Very strange, youd think they want to 50/50 the physical/magic attack typing of the summons. Titan will soon throw magic rocks at you, and punch you with his magic fists PS thanks for the guide I can probrably replicate this once I get Tifa's Ice Fists OB'ed a bit more.

So I was practicing this fight a couple hours getting pretty close - then all a sudden the boss just stayed stunned for like twice as long on one attempt - I got him into red hp on the first stun - finished on the second. Lucky glitch lmao 😂❤🎉

But i'm not finished yet, still struggling with Bahamut as it's difficult for me to keep the characters in the ward area... they keep pushing to bahamut. And of course, as the others say, if you lose 1 sec, he will cast Ifrit and it did all the time with me. I only tried 3 times now and I went till 20% life bahamut. I'll keep trying !

I only have one Luck materia and one Fury Ring.

You missed the opportunity to do x2 Seph attacks while still have Max Attack stance. Also you want to defend whenever it roars in between the Stream Phase. Also should have used Baha rod to heal, to gain extra atb not Aerith's U.W.

Gz good werk. Same Strat I used with aoe sword instead of poison since my damage is lower the poison was quicker than my single target damage on bahamut . You’re doing similar damage to me 83-84k per hit. The aoe sword worked well 👍👍🥳 . I didn’t have hellhound costume so I got reds ultimate to make up the difference for pdef and help with healing. only other thing I did different - can get off two extra diamond dust on the second and third time red removed ifrit buff buff with stardust - it comes back in time for next crimson dive safely

One time I beat him so fast he didn't even brake the gate forcing me to take the log way around.

4 years later and this method still holds up, thanks a lot for this guide.

Thank you so so much, just before I defeated Bahamut he summoned Ifrit and I was sure i couldnt do it, but then I defeated Bahamut with one last Thundaga and then i just hitted Ifrit with everything i could. I was so happy about finally beating Bahamut I dont even know anymore how i beat Pride and Joy. Thank you so so much. <3

This sht is DEFINITELY RNG.. This guide is the closest i’ve ever gotten to completing it though so i’m going to keep at it! I hate when blatant bs is thrown at us with no choice but to exploit the game to get passed it. After all of that padding in the story, i’m just tired.. completely drained… what a sht game to be related to a masterpiece like the OG ff7. I was on Pride and Joy with only about 20 Hits left with Tifa, then he just decides to shoot out infinite grenade launchers at me with no chance to attack, i hope whoever came up with that idea- Nevermind. I’m just having a mental breakdown because this game is complete shit.

i don't know what my problem is I cant pressure leviathan at all, I've done the exact same thing you did but I can't do it, I don't pressure him until he moves out of the stage

Thank you, with your guide I was able to do it. There was a struggle but obviously that's just timing and skill issues on my part. After a week of trying I have accomplished the pride and joy fight.

Wondering if they changed Leviathan? Playing on PC and the thunderaga doesn't do near enough pressure or dmg to him for some reason. I keep trying the character swap tactic to slow his attacks and it doesn't really help. Any character I'm not on runs straight into him and suddenly I have 3 characters getting bombarded with upclose attacks then he does the flying swipe and my team dies cause I have no healing or shields to recover. Focus strike doesn't seem to do anything either.

Am I missing something? My mp is nowhere near his and everything is maxed. Is it my weapon upgrades?

Thanks man your tips help me a lot, and what a great way to show the materia setup. I was having trouble just with shiva. With your game play the two first were piece of cake. Leviathan brings me trouble but o manage to dominated him 50%-50%. Bahamut was tricky and could beat him before he summon ifrit. So I bring the two Gainsborough from beating Weiss and Aerith with plegaria. I was able to beat them both after a second run. Then P&J beat me once because I was left with no MP, and I was little slow. But the second time I was faster, and spaced him with Aerith storm after MP was gone. Thanks man. I really appreciate it

Did you max out the Mp, magic and kick Materia? Man that will take some time… will multiple level 3 mps so instead?
