Love the work…my *ONLY* niggle is 2:48…the weathering of the landing gear bay….you made it look brilliant, except for the fact that aircraft aren’t stored upside down so there would be no “pool” of hydraulic fluid on the “ceiling” of the gear bays as it would drip down and stain the bay door internals, maybe a bit of staining on the sides obviously but oil isn’t anti gravity lol. Everyone does it 🤦🏻♂️

So, my original question was what is all the greenish-blue stuff on your yellow tape areas? I see later in the video it is probably Mr Masking Sol Neo. But I now have question, why is it all over the canopy tape?
@RBScaleModels6 ай бұрын
Oh yer sometimes the overspray creeps though underneath the tape edges.
@bzavala1236 ай бұрын
@@RBScaleModels Really??? It does not look like a "little creeping under the edge", almost all the canopy tape is covered in it.

Here's a tip. To do a faded break from green to yellow, but keep it in a straight line, is to use a post-it. The adhesive side of the post-it would be on the front of the vehicle. The unattached side would be over the door where the color break is. The amount of distance between the post it and the body determines how fuzzy the break line is.
