Je possède un streichfett branché sur un arturia keystep 37... excellent synthe, facile a utiliser, permettant des nappes au son vintage en complément d un ou deux claviers (plutôt deux) analogique ou numérique... le rêve pour pas très cher.... j ai 66 ans et je m amuse comme un petit fou!!!!

I love the low end in the synth, what suprised me is very conservative informations in high mids, i find the sounds to be very pleasant, but also every of them feels bit like there is no too much information above 10khz , if any at all. Other then that i find the overal tone of the synth very pleasing. Your patches are nice too. Some of them reminds me of Korg DW8000 somehow. Kind regards.

These don't sound like any other sounds I've heard for the OB-6. This guy's Argon8 sounds are also incredible!

I feel like this thing is the absolute king of this price range. Unless you're looking for one of the straight up analogue clones, I can't understand why you would get anything else for this cost.

On the magneto preset i hear bit & sample rate reduction , is this a dedicated fx or the one part in the decimator delay ... i want to maybe grab this synth , documenting myself first here ;) Beautyfull job on presets !!

That’s funny I had the EXACT same rack around the same time frame with this was posted, I had the Nord rack 2 and the MS2000R even has them in the same position MS on top and NR2 on the bottom, around 2004-05. It was really fun combo actually I kind of miss it even though I’ve got much better gear now that combo went very nice together

In the past 24 hours, I've bought a Roland SD-50 ($75), Roland SC-8850 in box ($125) and Yamaha QY100 ($80). I wanted a small sound module to put on top of my digital piano and didn't want rackmount. The SD-50 looks the best on my piano, next to my Mac Studio but I'm gonna have to spend some time listening to the sounds from each module. If anyone is familiar with these units, I'd really appreciate your inputs. Thanks!

Can't help but wonder, is he playing through an effects unit or are the effects coming from the synth.. every preset seems to have delay and reverb..

I thought I like Cobalt8 more, but after listen to this I would say Argon8 is more interesting and richer sounding synth.
