14 years ago... Man, that's one of the videos that kickstarted my music journey into synths. Still beautiful! Thanks for everything (even tho I didn't buy the SH201 in the end... got a Microkorg XL+ instead. Great synth, horrible UI..)

Sounds great. If I have the money I'm definitely getting one of those. I feel like Boy Harsher uses this synth for bass. I know for a fact Pixel Grip does.

2025. These are outstanding! Such care taken, patch after patch. Gigantic swells/long tails (with genuine character). Clever use of LFO (creating sort of pseudo-delays). Combination layers that actually work together (sometimes ‘dance around each other’). Delays/Reverbs that actually compliment the LFO/Arp patterns. Normally I buy “classic” synth sounding presets as starting points (& usually hate designers that turn single patches into orchestrated step sequence journeys…or ‘aimless drones’ aka a mess) but these are all creative, fun, well thought out ideas, sometimes genius 🤷♂️ I’m very impressed 👏👏👏

Geat demo, thanks! I'm looking for a good companion for my Prophet 6. While the PB sounds great I'm not hearing much that my P6 can't do. Maybe a Matriarch then...

Finally a professional soundset for the fantastic Iridium that doesn't focus on ambient, drone and movie soundtracks but simply offers very good sounding and musically versatile patches that perfectly reflect the qualities of the Iridium. A best-buy for me! Absolutely recommendable.

You can hear the digital part of the modulation very well , by that i mean the modulators , these only became digital in the Ob 8 , that is why i think this sounds more like an original Ob 8 than a Obx a

I bought the patch set and I'm very happy. The DeepMind factory presets are way to complex and are designed to wow the buyer, showing it's myriad possibilities but they are not practical for most uses.

Reminds me of korg poly800 with different guitar effects look folks you can mimick same results way much cheaper poly800 or modern Casio ctc700 got it built in already and more reliable Casio is than korg when they crap out your screwed getting it fixed high cost too I know I been thru it save your money and your sanity watch out for all this hype bout music equipment being that good when it ain't it's your money honey.

5:32, how is that made? Is that modulating filter mode from bp, hp to lowpass into the ladder while modulating it with noise? Or fm and filter fm on on the steiner? Brutefactor? How did you made it. Sounds interessting.

I remember seeing this video a couple of years ago when I was considering to buy an used Yamaha SY77. I made the purchase and became quite the Yamaha SY series enthusiast. I see that I never left a comment, until now. Many thanks for sharing this great demo and greetings from Germany. It’s good to be back here listening to those mighty SY77 tones! :)

Interesting how many demos aren’t using the 16-lane modulation sequencer at all, as the sequencer is the heart and soul of the synth. It can do these kind of very pretty ‘normal’ synthesizer tones (nice work btw!). But also, there’s a whole universe of wild bubbly organic goodness in there, just beyond that door marked ‘play’

There are some excellent, lush and very playable patches here! I must admit that the factory presets left a lot to be desired, but after an hour with the randomise patch button, this synth's true potential can be appreciated. Blush Response has posted a video named "Worship the Hydrasynth", this shows just how extreme the Hydrasynth can get, although your ears may bleed before the end LOL.
