I dont know how you guys getting more salary than IIM B professor, my elder sister is assistant professor in IIM B. She is getting in-hand salary of 1.8 lakh per month. Perks i don't know , even i'm doing phd in chemistry from IISC Bangalore. Hoping i will get assistant professor job in CU/IITs/IISERs. Her pay level 13 A.

Kaunsa IIM A/B/C student ko 2 crore pa in-hand mil raha hey , thats 2 crore p.a CTC bro . 95% I know are getting 4 lakh per month after taxes , pf and perks that too after 10 years. You know india has a surcharge tax after reaching more than 50 lakh p.a . I myself am a student of XLRI and My elder sister is a student of IIM B, she has 9 years of experience after MBA drawing salary of 1.5 crore p.a . But her in-hand salary is 4.5 lakh per month after pf , taxes. They might get 10 lakh per month after 20-25 years , but look they don't get time to enjoy themselves. Most of them retire by early 50's or by 45 .

Your sis is getting basic pay of 131000 , assuming perks 1 - CEA ( For 2 kids 2.4 lakh hostel subsidy) 2 - research allowance ( 1 lakh per year ) 3 - professional development allowance ( 1 lakh per year ) And all pay level 13A central govt allowance, which is again 50k per month. Job security till 65 . Teaching is noble profession Now add all of these 1.8 lakh + 50k + 50k = 2.8 lakh per month Wait , There's a consultancy charge per project . Decent luxury house ( 70k per month in house at assistant professor level , if your sister get promoted to associate and professor she gets good bungalow in campus which is worth 1.5 lakh per month) Now add - 2.8 lakh + 70k = 3.5 lakh per month+ consultancy charge ) This is just at entry level position of assistant professor. Just imagine professor level perks + salary .

After 10 years, the salary in RBI grade B is not 40. As per previous records after every 6 years, the salary becomes double. So after 10 years, it will be 70-84 Lakh CTC. In your video of SBI PO(2017) TO MANAGER(2024), you showed growth in CTC of 258%, and then RBI salary growth is the same or may be higher. However, I prefer to do an MBA as it gives you a lot of memories & networks. But fees and academic weightage are big issues for a humble background guy.

But in the sbi video, one point o note is that two bipartite happened during this 7 yrs which is the effect of 10 yrs.. The thing if u check.. like lets take the example who joined RBI in 2014 and who passed out of MBA in 2014.. In RBI they will be grade C now and CTC wont be more than 40 to 45.. But IIM Grad will be around 70 to 80

Lol😂 Sachin Tendulkar -RBI Virat kohli--IIM ABC Do you think Virat is better than the legend Sachin Tendulkar. Definitely not. RBI is running Indian Economy and bankers bank as well as banker to the govt of india and Private Companies are just a part of it. But at the end i would say it is just a choice of individual where they want to work according to the priority. For me RBI is 500 percent better than Any private job including MBB or Jp Morgan, Morgan Stanley etc.
