I tell you what I was so naive when I was younger I was around 27 years old and I was swimming in New Smyrna Beach Florida infested shark waters didn't even know it My friend knew about it and he said go ahead go swimming and I had noticed that there were no lifeguards around and didn't notice that there were warnings no swimming in the water shark invested signs all along the shoreline and I got caught in a riptide Will you know that old saying God was with you yeah God was with me I looked back knowing that my friend was on the shore frantically telling me to come in and noticing there was a lifeguard their finally and I could not just swim in it was a riptide so I swam parallel with the riptide will I look back as I was swimming and I thought it was a dolphin because you know in Florida you see a lot of dolphins and I paid no mind and when I finally got to shore after about an hour of swimming I was exhausted My friend and the lifeguard met me at the shoreline and the lifeguard walked me over and he says Do you realize that you were being stalked by a 10 ft great white I said what he said yeah and your friend we know very well and he knew that there are sharks in New Smyrna Beach and he said my advice is to stay away from your friend

I've seen videos of bull sharks being caught in the Mississippi River and was told that people were catching bull sharks in the White River in Arkansas back when I was a teenager in the 1970s

It’s a weird thing that, from the surface she looks so much bigger, but from beneath not so much. I guess from the surface, you can scale and compare her to the size of the boat. She’s a big girl!
